^in fact ALL of 7-20 are declining. The top 20 is in desperate need of some new life. I agree. Seriously, some of the songs were from last year. Time for those summer smash to begin

Hot 100 prediction based on my sales estimates + airplay trend
1. Rolling In The Deep (243 + 154 = 397) 2. Give Me Everything (200 + 99 = 299) 3. E.T. (132 + 145 = 277) 4. The Edge Of Glory (181 + 40 = 221) *** 5-6. The Lazy Song (127 + 88 = 215) 5-6. Just Can't Get Enough (100 + 113 = 213) 7-8. On The Floor (116 + 86 = 202) 7-8. Till The World Ends (107 + 92 = 199) 9. Party Rock Anthem (147 + 41 = 188) 10. I'm On One (155 + 26 = 181)
11-12. I Love You This Big (166 + 5 = 171) 11-12. The Show Goes On (96 + 74 = 170) 13-14. Look At Me Now (88 + 66 = 154) 13-14. Super Bass (123 + 30 = 153) 15. Roll Up (69 + 68 = 137) 16. Down On Me (63 + 65 = 128) 17-19. Born This Way (99 + 25 = 124) 17-19. Don't Wanna Go Home (93 + 30 = 123) 17-19. S&M (61 + 61 = 122) 20. Like My Mother Does (116 + 3 = 119)
*** The Edge Of Glory could end up much lower due to negative single sales from iTunes' complete my album feature.

Wow who would've thought Adele to get 150+ AI. no one. I remember thinking "If we're lucky this will reach the top 40" back when I first heard this song six months ago. No one could have predicted 4 weeks at #1 on the Hot 100.

All I know is that Adele is literally rolling in the deep... stacks of money with this smash! This is one of those hits that restores confidence in the purchasing public that they don't just buy what fits in with the prevailing trend on mainstream radio. Who would've thought back in early December that perhaps the biggest radio hit of 2011 would be a song so non-mainstream song?

Will EOG actually be affected by complete my album? I did not see that option in iTunes and I bought EOG.

I remembered weeks ago when "On The Floor" had this Complete My Album thing, but the sales were counted in as well, which resulted in a new peak of #3.

"On the Floor" did not suffer from "Complete My Album"- it would be odd if only certain titles were affected (then again, I didn't pay much attention to see if, upon its release, the album was available for pre-order) I don't recall "The Edge of Glory" being part of the album pre-order. If it wasn't, it should not be affected by that.

This is so true because it's one of those songs that could either do really well or totally bomb but everyone who hears it likes it.

I thought it would stall around #11-18 and then slowly fall off after 50 weeks. I cant believe it even has a chance at a year end #1...

Yep- was an accomplishment when it reached the top 10- and look what happened thereafter. Not that Adele wasn't already making her commercial mark, with the album shifting 350K or so in its first week.

I just wanted Rolling in the Deep to beat Chasing Pavement's peak at #21 so I'm really glad it beat the odds. I think the song will have great longevity on the chart much like "Just The Way You Are"

Probably not this week but in a normal week it's probably good for a #7 debut.

Looks good for Idol. Top 10-20 hits for both contestants. They both outperformed Lee DeWho?
Only thing is during seasons 7-9 the winners/runner-ups had multiple songs charting.

An Idol performance only pushes an original track so far- and, sorry, an Idol contestant is no Adele. :) RITD just rode the momentum.

www.billboard.com/#/news/lady-gaga-tops-billboard-200-brad-paisley-1005208612.storyMcCreery is also the big news on the Digital Songs chart, as his coronation single "I Love You This Big" debuts at No. 3 with 171,000 downloads sold. It's the best debut sales week for an "Idol" winner's first single since David Cook did 236,000 with "The Time of My Life" in 2008. 2011 "Idol" runner-up Lauren Alaina just misses the top 10, as her "Like My Mother Does" arrives at No. 11 with 121,000. Back in the top 10, Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" continues to hold at No. 1 with 254,000 (down 14%) while Pitbull's "Give Me Everything" (featuring Ne-Yo, Afrojack and Nayer) is steady at No. 2 (210,000; down 1%). Lady Gaga's "The Edge of Glory" rises 14-4 (165,000; up 74%) -- no surprise considering her multiple performances of the song last week on TV ("Saturday Night Live," "Good Morning America" and "American Idol"). DJ Khaled's "I'm On One" (featuring Drake, Rick Ross & Lil Wayne) is the second-highest new entry, starting at No. 5 with 159,000, while LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem" slides two spots to No. 6 with 154,000 (down 5%). Katy Perry's "E.T." slips four rungs to No. 7 (148,000; down 14%), Bruno Mars' "The Lazy Song" falls two to No. 8 (138,000; down 5%) and Jennifer Lopez's "On the Floor" dances down two spots to No. 9 (130,000; down 6%). Closing out the top 10 is Nicki Minaj's "Super Bass," which falls one position to No. 10, though it's up 13% (128,000). Digital track sales this past week totaled 24.69 million downloads, up 2% compared to last week (24.28 million) and up 14% stacked next to the comparable week of 2010 (21.75 million). Year to date track sales are at 536.14 million, up 10% compared to the same total at this point last year (488.01 million).

What is Scotty M's airplay? Through Sunday, Billboard reported the track had 3.2 million audience at country stations. Not that the amount of play would significantly impact the track's Hot 100 ranking.

JENNIFER LOPEZ - I'm Into You f/Lil Wayne: 6.615 (- 0.061)
It looks like radio isn't going to let go of GOTF yet. Still, I thought this song would be trending far better than it is right now on radio. The slow start is definitely going to hinder her album sales from getting to at least 500k.
