I love how we are calling domination of one act at one time a "scandal" If BEPs 26 week run at #1 is a "scandal", then is Katy Perry's top 10 streak also a "scandal"? People say anything out of desperation/frustration. It's happened numerous times, most recently the debate over the $0.99 digital downloads of BTW and people calling it a scandal, etc... it's funny to read

^Probably not, as quality of the record isn't what the charts are about. :) I said before that I think OTF will be one of those one-sizable-hit-from-the-album deals. In terms of the gimmicky collaborations, Queen B =. Well, we know what she needs to do... ;)

I like this song and glad she's back but I doubt it will make any impact at all :(

I don't think a top 10 streak or a long time at #1 is a scandal, but it does bore me. Just by nature I like variety so I don't get why people want never-ending #1 streaks by anyone. Like, even if my favorite artist EVER hit #1 I would start getting annoyed if it stayed there too long. A month is about my limit ha ha.

I really like RITD, but it seems like it's been #1 for ages. And yet, it's only been 7 weeks?
BEP were #1 for 26 weeks... I remember it being a long run, but it never felt like half a year. Such a weird thought.

Katy being Top 10 for a year isn't as bad. BEP blocked like 20 songs from being #1, while Katy only blocked a few songs from being Top10 (Avril )

Why would the BDS airplay difference for Pitbull/Adele be so much smaller than it is on Mediabase? Because Mediabase Quick Cut Data does not include audience from Latin stations, which Pitbull and Jennifer Lopez are benefitting heavily from.

Did not realize GME was getting Latin play.
For some reason I really do not want it to hit #1 -- to go from Adele to Pitbull at #1 is just... depressing.

I guess Kelly R. and Lil' Wayne may not be getting that top 10 airplay hit.
Country radio isn't being too "mean" with Taylor Swift's latest hit (lame, I know. hehe)
br- Pitbull is Latin- course he's gonna get some Latin play. :) Not that that's a free pass at Latin station (non-Latin acts get played too sometimes), but his music fits into what's "hot" at the moment (for better or worse).

Because Mediabase Quick Cut Data does not include audience from Latin stations, which Pitbull and Jennifer Lopez are benefitting heavily from. I hadn't even thought of Latin airplay. That's really going to tighten up the top 2 this week, and quite possibly send Pitbull to #1.

KENNY CHESNEY - You And Tequila f/Grace Potter = 28.783 (+0.423)
Surprised that this isn't gaining faster... It's doing very well on iTunes and already outpeaked Live a Little on Hot 100.

It's doing quite well on the country chart, up to #13 after only 7 weeks. Should be top 10 within 2 weeks and I don't see it missing out on #1. I think its digital sales will start to pick up even more, as the video for the song is still quite new...and it's a damn good video too
