This is pretty good, but if "MoneyGrabber" couldn't make it at Alternative then I doubt this will.

It don't gotta work out, since their fanbase is generally AAA. And yeah, I thought "MoneyGrabber" could've got at least Top 40 on alternative. It got close to Top 30 on HAC also.

I really like "Moneygrabber." Do the other songs on their album sound similiar to that song?

^ Yes, I would say the rest of the album is similar in style/genre to MoneyGrabber. Really solid album. I definitely recommend listening.
I didn't realize they had released any singles to Alt. I guess the band is sort of hard to classify. I think they should be getting more HAC play than they do though. That's probably where they'd fit best.

I don't watch VH1 very often anymore but I did catch an interview with the two singers a few weeks ago. I also really like a song they've been playing a lot by a singer/songerwriter named Lissie. I need to look up some of her music, too. You're a big Kelly Clarkson fan so you may like this girl too if you haven't checked her stuff out yet.

I really like "Moneygrabber." Do the other songs on their album sound similiar to that song? "Pickin' Up the Pieces" sounds largely like early-to-mid-70's Motown R&B, funk and blues with light lashings of rock and roll, with a bit of a sonic gloss to it to keep it from sounding too much like a time capsule. It's an excellent album. I highly recommend the full purchase. That said, they are umpteen times more compelling as a live act than a studio one. Michael Fitzpatrick's high-octane energy and dance moves make him a standout frontman, while Noella offers a great range of vocal assistance and the whole band know how to get sharply dressed. Namaste, lisping HIBISCUS

Thanks, Noah. I can always count on you for a very thorough assessment of whatever you are reviewing. :)
Do you happen to write for a living? Or majored in English in college?
