Video was pretty clever. It was a song that I would say was the most surprising to hit number one on alternative. Did this go to number one on AC too?

Love it. The instruments in the beginning are great, and I love the lyrical meaning of this song. This was such a huge hit for them, so happy they got it.
I love the line "I've found a reason to show, a side of me you didn't know".
Can't believe it's been 9 years! 2004 was a great year in music.

I love this a lot. I love the music video a lot too. Great song.
It's incredibly difficult to sing, though. That range is crazy.

Came on shuffle today, and I really do love this song.

I'm surprised it became a huge hit for them, especially in the R&B/Hip-Hop era of 2004.

Good song. Kinda killed their career though. They lost their cred on alternative because of this and then they just kept trying to rewrite it over and over for another pop hit.
My favorite song of theirs is "More Than A Memory" which is a bit of a rewrite of "Running Away" but I don't care lol
