Fourth single from the album Habits. Under the Taking Off section in my Alternative Adds newsletter. I doubt it will do much.

I always felt this should be a single but I agree that it might be too late.

This should have been third, with "Your Surrender" second. "1983" was a such a weak single choice. I think "Your Surrender" would have done far better than a #27 top out on Alt. & top 40 on Pop had it been second.

It's still charting on HAC but it's not gonna be enough to even chart on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart. :(
I think Neon Trees will be a one-hit wonder band.

^ Agreed. "1983" killed their momentum. I have no idea why that was the second single.
Four singles from an album with 8 songs. Alrighty, then.
For their next album, I hope they get a different producer. Their songs all sounds the same on the record, but live, they are far different creatures.

Didn't think they'd go for another one. I'm guessing Top 40 at best.

I really don't see this going higher than say the Top 35-40 range on Alternative with "Your Surrender" doing short of decent. I agree "1983" was a poor choice period and it might have ruined their continued success after "Animal". I really wanted "Girls & Boys In School" or "Our War" to be released at some point, but oh well. I don't think if they were released instead of "Sins of My Youth" that they would do any differently.

They are still trying with another single? This one stuck out to me when i heard the album but it's too little too late at this point.

Sorry to bump--is this doing anything on the charts? It's grown on me quite a bit lately and I was curious. :)

I think it's in the process of flopping. :/

I think it's a bit unfair to say it's "flopping," considering it's never received an adds date or anything official.

Yeah, I thought that too, either way it's struggling to make the Top 50.
