On the iTunes sales chart for the #1 song - it doesn't happen every day but it is not unprecedented for the explicit and clean version to both be popular

When songs like Havana are in the Top 10, you know digital sales are way down. I didn't expect the bottom to drop out so fast - it many ways it's faster than the physical single decline because evil Record Companies limited the quantities/distribution. Not so with digital sales, the consumer has decided to pass on owning.

Idol has a huge lead to You Say and GIAW currently, interesting. Definitely top ten potential there (Hot 100 I mean) At the same time, though, the #1 song this week is looking to sell only 30k, plus BTS has always been extremely front loaded, and this time is no exception. The last three updates are all red already and it hasn't even been 24 hours. |

Anyone know why "Feels Great" by Cheat Codes is #130 on iTunes? It was a minor hit last fall to winter. A Cheat Codes performance/music video was apparently controversially aired during halftime on Monday Night Football. Don't know if it was Feels Great which was performed/shown but the bump may have something to do with that. |
