Set Fire to the Rain is T40 because it's awesome. Is that other boring Adele song still the pop radio choice?

Since it's a non-single, there has to be something besides being a good track that's driving "Set Fire to the Rain," though, no?

SFTTR was featured during a routine on So You Think You Can Dance last week.

Katy Perry is losing ground to BME and "Lighters."
Have LFN's sales peaked? It's possible.
Time to put out the remixes.

"Set Fire to the Rain" was used on an episode of So You Think You Can Dance last week and is being used in a commercial from a show this week. But, yes, it's so much better than "Someone Like You." I honestly don't get the love for that song.

"Set Fire..." is being used as promo for a show? I knew that ABC Family was using "Rumor Has It" for its news show, The Lying King, but did not know SFTTR also was being used in TV spots.
"Someone Like You" is a strong track- perhaps not the best choice for radio, though (especially pop). But, we'll see.

Yeah, it's a network show. For the life of me I can't remember what it is. If I catch the commercial tonight I'll make sure to remember the television show.

LMAO, watch SFTTR become her ¨Grenade¨ (regardless of Someone Like You being the current single or not).

Do the digital sales figures come out today or is it tomorrow? I want to see how much "Lighters" has increased. I could see this overtaking PA in a few weeks.

There was a 50,000 sales difference this week between Katy and LMFAO. Her chances are way beyond slipping. Her label really needs to do something fast before it peaks at radio too.

^Peaks at radio? Are you serious? LFN isn't going to peak for awhile even if it holds steady. Now that the stations are dropping ET, it should help allow LFN more now to have longevity.

Pumped Up Kicks is probably a #1 that's waiting in the wings.

It's already #1 on pop radio, has 145m audience impressions, and broke the spin record. It's going to hit a wall pretty soon.

Hot AC and Rhythmic will at least help it stabilize over the next few weeks.

Even a remix won't give LFN the sales increase of 30% it needs against PRA now let alone if Lighters gets a video soon (or has it already?)

Record company is just moving too slow with it. PRA isn't letting up at all. Katy has 1-2 more weeks left after that people will have moved on.

I said Capitol should just pay LMFAO's label to hold off PRA from itunes next week.

Katy tried it but failed, the sooner ya'll come to terms with this the easier it will be to move on...
I'll weep with ya'll. :'(

How much more would Katy move by cutting the price to 69 or 99 cents? It's the thing now to throw together a remix to bump up sales but how many of them sell in the long term? Is the cost worth it for the improved chart position?

The headlines and buzz associated with a #1 is probably worth the loss of a few grand forfeited, yes.
