Love it. Way more true to the sound of the debut than their previous album.

I like it. But it's much more similar to the second album, than the amazing first album. Also, are we sure this is going for adds anywhere at Alternative? I would think the best shot for this would be Hot AC.

None of their singles really fit at a format. Jack's Mannequin is perfectly radio friendly but not commercial enough for Pop, too poppy for Alternative, and not "adult" enough for Hot AC so their singles are basically for fans and other media (video channels, internet, etc) rather than radio.

This probably is better geared for Hot AC/Triple A, but I think with the state Alternative is in now, it has a better shot than it would have a few years ago.

It's funny because Jack's Mannequin could easily be the poster act for multi-format appeal, but because they don't have mega marketing dollars behind them they have trouble fitting in anywhere.

Now that I've heard this in full I take back my earlier comment about this being a return to the Everything In Transit sound. Not at all. This reminds me a little of The Killers when they tried to channel Springsteen. I still like it but can't get into it as much as I thought I would. I want their fluffier '06 sound to come back lol

I'm a fan of the first two records. I didn't listen to them enough but the sound of them was very pleasing. I'm looking forward to this one.

I preferred Everything In Transit. It was soo catchy, quirky and still really good. TGP was probably more mature, but just not aggressive enough might be the word. This seems more like a continuation of TGP, but I hope I get some songs like Dark Blue, Bruised, Holiday from Real and Mixed Tape on this new album.

Now they're trying to show "growth" by abandoning that... but there's way to evolve the material without trying too hard to sound "older."

This is amazing, per usual.
Albums like EIT come once in a lifetime so I don't really want "another" EIT. If Andrew tries duplicating that he will fail.

I'm surprised it's actually going for adds. Good for them. I like the song, but if I didn't like Jack's Mannequin before this, I'm not so sure this song would make me become a fan. I wish it all the best though!

Love it.
