People rarely mentioned "NICKI MINAJ - Super Bass". It has decent airplay and sales. It also has good choice to hit No.1. Not really though. But it has done exceptionally well. While it's AI and sales are huge, she's not a contender for that #1 |

so its lookin like FIVE weeks at #1 for PRA! lol Never ever woulda believed this would even go top 10 in the America let alone #1 for over a month lol,. Though, obviously LFN will be a lot closer this week. Its def closing the gap rapidly. but Katy HAS to put some remix no matter how good or bad like in the next week or so, otherwise she may struggle due to sales of the regular single. With her airplay a wild forest fire now, that remix will make her a shoe in for #1.

We don't have all of Spears' BDS audience peaks, so tough to say whether IWG is her fifth-largest weekly audience peak- but it only needs to top HIAM's 81 million to end up with her second-largest BDS peak.

^Those of course, would be Mediabase tallies, for which the BDS difference for some with often is large (see "Toxic"). ;)
I think the BDS total for "Sometimes" is larger, as it peaked at No. 14 on Hot 100 Airplay. And "My Prerogative" looks kinda large, even for Mediabase. It failed to crack Hot 100 Airplay, which means a BDS peak less than 20m (probably in the 15m-17m range).

The biggest jump to the top 10 is Jay-Z & Kanye West's "Otis" (featuring Otis Redding) which zips 40-9 (113,000; up 159%).

^Overall, it doesn't seem like digital sales are that high. It seemed like at one point a few months ago that multiple singles were doing over 200k. Now it looks like next week won't have a single title over 200k.

^Year-to-date digital sales are up 11% compared to last year. While there may not be HUGE totals at the top, we're seeing titles sell more overall. :) Similar with album sales- catalog albums look to be up and are helping the overall sum increase from the same point last year.
