wow, the Red Hot Chili Peppers totally hit a brick wall. Isn't it just the 8th day effect? I thought that was pretty standard with all big new releases, it should go back to larger increases within a few days |

Yes, indeed- I just noticed that RHCP track debuted on the latest Hot 100, so it was released during that chart's tracking period.
"Best Thing I Never Had" has a +167 in the current 7-day rolling chart at pop (a little less than the rhythmic gain), so it's still chugging along there. Its also now top 40 at Urban AC, at least (with a +38).

Anyway to include Blake Shelton's new single "God Gave Me You" in the update? Sorry, I'm not sure how it works when someone posts the updates, so I was just wondering.
But Blake has been tearing up the country charts with that song...and I know most of the songs on here are not of the country genre but I know some are (Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Chris Young, etc).

I'm thinking this will peak in September (mid) so it will have more than enough time When all said and done #1 peak at pop, #3/4 peak at airplay #6-9 peak at hot 100. |
