Please note that the Non-Singles / Album Tracks forum is for songs that are either from relatively current albums and artist eras or otherwise new. Anything older can be posted in the Nostalgia forum whether it's an album track, a live-only recording, a b-side or unreleased song. Also consider starting a topic for the album if you plan on making more than one topic for album tracks from the same album.

To throw my opinion in, I think it's incredibly annoying when people make a thread for each song on an album. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I don't disagree, especially since it's probably so the thread maker and say they made it if nothing else - but for bigger albums, threads will probably get made for each album track anyway. Luckily for now it's pretty much only for the big albums that it happens.

So I guess I should ask here since this just happened to me, but I guess we can’t make the thread until the song is formally released even if we already know about it and it’s leaked?

I would say it's completely fine to make a thread for it. As long as you don't post the link to a leak (most come with a DL link is why), then you should be good – if it is streamable on YouTube, then it's fine, however. A lot of people make TBA threads for artists based on nothing all the time, lol.

I thought so too, but I had actually made the thread earlier and it was deleted.

I'm not an admin, but I think usually you would just post in the thread for the song in the board of whatever format it's a hit on. There wouldn't need to be another thread for it here.
