Ugh.
Don't like this song, but maybe a cool video will bring me around to it.
I can't see radio playing it.

This one never struck me as single-material. Her fans just jumped on it because Britney said it was her favorite. Regardless, I like it and it should make for a cool video. It would be nice to see Britney apply herself to something she really seems to like too.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS. Suck on that, Ace!
I love this song...not sure I'd pick it as a single yet, but why not? At least it's a change of pace.

Whoa, shocked! I love this and "Inside Out," and yet always thought "Inside Out" would have been the better choice.
This looks risky, but the risky ones have done well lately, mainly "You & I" and "Someone Like You."

Easily her best fourth single ever.

Despite rooting for "Inside Out", I'm happy about this...at least she's switching it up and releasing a mid-tempo; I'm hoping for a really good video, too!

I don't really know what to think about this. I'm really happy that '(Drop Dead) Beautiful' isn't the fourth single, but I really think 'Inside Out' was the right choice right now. Thankfully they chose a song that wasn't another up-tempo though! I think the video could also be really cool too so maybe this is a good choice. The only thing that bothers me about this is that she could have easily performed this live in her deeper range last night at the VMAs which would have given her more respect from the general public, she could have shown off the talent we all know she has, and it would have been the perfect launching pad for the single release. Hopefully we'll see her perform it in the coming months during award show season.

Might as well scrap the era and start working on the next album. NEXT!

I honestly have no idea what to expect with this song's run. This is going to be a fun thread to watch!

I honestly have no idea what to expect with this song's run. This is going to be a fun thread to watch! Pretty much. I love this song (although it's burned on me a lot since overplaying it when the album was released) but I also have no idea what to expect of its run. Either way, I'm glad they picked this over DDB and IO. I don't care for either of them. The former would have burned quickly on listeners and the latter is too slow and dull. Although, the same could be said about this song, so...

This is a good choice and I'm happy that they didn't goooo with "Drop Dead". I see this at least making the top 20 on pop based on her momentum and possibly going top 10. It's a nice choice for a fall single.

I'm so happy they picked this one over DDB, even when my personal choice was Inside Out. If there was ever a moment to release a song like this, is now. After her 2 biggest radio hits, this has a a chance of doing great. Nobody knows how this will do, hopefully it will pull a Everytime. I remember that a lot of people said that it was going to miss the top 20 when it came out.

I've always loved this song. It kinda reminds me of 'Papa Don't Preach'.

Yay! I've already overplayed BFB and IO, so I'm happy that this is the next single, now I can overplay this too!

YES!
I wanted this or DDB to be the next single over that lame IO. Such a good single choice!
This should do well in a climate where Y&I and SLY can do well.

I like it because you can actually hear her voice. She's robotic Britney on all the other tracks. I think she pushed for this, which makes me happy. Didn't she say it was one of her favourite songs? I can't imagine the label/ Luke pushing for this over the other Robo-Britney songs.

I hate this song, but it is a much better choice than IO. I'm very interested to see how this will do.

Not convinced it'll do very well, but at least it's an interesting choice. I would have preferred IO if they had to go for a mid-tempo, but I'd much rather have this than DDB. I doubt we'll get that far, but if this makes no impact, there's always BFB...

I am stunned they went with this because I assumed they would straight up go safe and radio friendly for the entire era and not release any of the slightly different songs on the cd.
It makes me happy though. Britney has secured her place in the pop world. She doesn't NEED to be 100% safe and radio friendly non-stop. Sometimes releasing a great song with a great video will go further even if it peaks at #5 instead of #1.
