The Elusive Cuckoo tops XXLtina for all except Fighter, and that one is really close for me since The Roof is masterful too. Pretty much just depends on when you ask me there.

Mariah for all. I really like all of these Christina tracks, aside from Beautiful which I got over and never really got back into, but Mariah's are just better.

OMG I could never with this poll! Two of my favourite albums from two of my favourite divas. That's about as much as I can weigh in haha.

Hard to choose between their first and third singles...Dirrty is such a great party anthem, but Honey makes me feel more nostalgic about my childhood. Fighter is much more relatable, but The Roof is such a vibe!
but the rest I choose:
2nd single: Butterfly, brings me into tears more fourth: Breakdown fifth: My All
So...I guess Butterfly for the win! lol

Mariah Carey's 5 singles are brilliant. "Beautiful" is lovely and the only song from Aguilera's album I like but I wouldn't trade a Mariah song from "Butterfly" for that Linda Perry song.

Dirrty vs. Honey Beautiful vs. Butterfly Fighter vs. The Roof (both are fantastic songs and career highlights, it's just that I relate to "Fighter" more) Can't Hold Us Down vs. Breakdown The Voice Within vs. My All (again, both really strong songs, but "My All" is a classic)
Christina: 2 Mariah: 3
Unpopular opinion here, but while I do think "Butterfly" is a wonderful album from beginning to end, I prefer "Stripped" as a portrait of a young woman coming of age and dealing with love, lust, heartbreak, and insecurities. Sure, it has some filler-ish tracks, but tracks like "I'm OK", "Beautiful", "Walk Away" + "Fighter" and "Cruz" are spectacularly raw and showcase a vulnerability that few tracks on "Butterfly" capture as effectively, despite being incredibly well written and performed as well.
That's just my personal opinion, of course.

I prefer Butterfly's singles for the most part. I never really got into Stripped anyways if I'm being honest.

Lol we know there’s a lot of Mariah fans on here. But didn’t “Stripped” outsell “Butterfly” worldwide even though it was released during a much weaker market? Asking for a friend.

Even though I'm a bigger fan of MiMi I think I would go with "Stripped". There are some songs on "Butterfly" that drag for me and there are a couple of songs on "Stripped" I could do without. "Stripped" has more tracks to choose from and has 2 of my favorite XTina tracks "Impossible and Infatuation". Plus I like a 4 or 5 MiMi albums better than "Butterfly" so that could be influencing my choice.
