It seems to me that every other week, we get a psycho chart from 20: The Countdown Magazine. The first thing many of you will notice is the huge jump by "Here I Am To Worship" by Philips Craig & Dean, which has been dog paddling in the lower portion of the chart over the past month. Also, notice that "Moment Made For Worshipping" by Steven Curtis Chapman is nowhere to be seen on this list even though he was way up in the top five last week. And it still gets a lot of radio airplay, how could it have been bouncing between 4 and 5 over the past few months and then be gone all of a sudden.
And it seems to me that Jon made a slight mistake on this chart. He said that there were only two debuts and there were three of them. Other than SCC, the songs dropping out are "Word Of God (Speak)" by MercyMe and "You Are My King (Amazing Love)" by the Newsboys, which is understandable, since both songs have been around forever and were near the brink last week.
So we had "Leaving 99" debuting all the way up at number seven last week, taking a huge dive two weeks later along with several other songs and this week, we have a few more oddities. What will the chart for March 28 hold? Also, I'd love to see how the rest of the February 14 chart looked like, since I tuned in at the aforementioned "Leaving 99". But, alas, the chart is no longer available online. Oh well...
