^ So is "Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye" going to be the new Luke Bryan single? I haven't heard anything, but it seems pretty much a given, and its already getting significant early airplay like Fastest Girl in Town and Creepin' did recently.
Also, nice to see Blown Away get the GG!

Or maybe it was just chatter in the "Drunk on You" thread.

Not sure if there ever was an actual thread, maybe because it wasn't quite "confirmed" by some major news outlet or given an adds date yet (it still hasn't, right?).

Sorry I've been kinda spotty on making predictions lately. I have been gone the last few weekends or just really, really busy. I don't know if I will have any for next week's chart either and the rest of the summer just looks really busy as well. I don't know if many people look at them anyway but it is a hobby of mine that I enjoy so I do intend to keep running the numbers and posting predictions, but if you don't see them, it's usually because my weekends have been packed full of trips/friends/work, etc.

Dropping Off: Love & Theft's "Angel Eyes", The Band Perry's "Postcard From Paris", Sara Evans' "Anywhere", Steve Holy's "Hauled Off And Kissed Me", and Gwen Sebastian's "Met Him In A Motel Room"
Comments:
After years of hard work, Little Big Town will pick up their first #1 hit tomorrow with "Pontoon", a song that exploded so quickly that it didn't take long for people to realize it would be their biggest hit. Josh Turner is still hanging in there and should move up to #2, but it seems a tall task to knock off LBT while trying to hold off Hunter Hayes. Look for Jana Kramer to pick up her first top 5 hit, with Keith Urban still inching up the chart as well, while Jason Aldean closes in. Easton Corbin has had a big week and should surge into the top 10, along with Carrie Underwood. However, this is assuming that Love & Theft's "Angel Eyes" joins The Band Perry's "Postcard From Paris" and goes recurrent. I took them off the list in my predictions, as I think they'll fall to #11 or #12 in spins despite likely having the 9th best audience.
The Zac Brown Band seems to be looking at another week at #11 even with 2 likely recurrents from up ahead, as Easton has caught fire and Carrie continues to cruise. Tim McGraw is also moving rather slowly, with Miranda Lambert closing in. Lee Brice and Jake Owen have caught fire but Big & Rich continues to move slowly. Taylor Swift's 2nd week hangover hasn't completely gone away yet, and she'll have her hands full with Jake Owen and the red hot new Luke Bryan song, "Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye", which looks poised to blast up several spots and into the top 20. Lady A might finally limp into the top 20 this week, while Jerrod Niemann inches closer and Greg Bates' debut single "Did It For The Girl" continues to look pretty good.
Eric Church's "Creepin'" has slowed up a bit but continues to do alright. Meanwhile, Justin Moore's new single took forever to catch on but is suddenly moving up strongly through the 20's. Darius Rucker should see a top 30 debut, possibly as high as #25 or #26, depending on whether he sneaks ahead of Toby Keith or not. Florida Georgia Line continues to cruise up the chart and the sales for their single "Cruise" are exploding, so I think they're gonna score a big hit down the road, potentially a #1 before all is said and done. Dierks Bentley should move up several spots and well into the top 40, with Rodney Atkins and the Eli Young Band also possibly sneaking into the top 40. Thomas Rhett and Alan Jackson should each move up a handful of spots, too.
For debuts, aside from Darius' Clear Channel-aided top 30 start, there will be a couple of other impressive debuts, and I believe Kacey Musgraves' potential top 50 start (or close to it) would be most notable. However, Gary Allan, Craig Morgan, and Tyler Farr also look good to debut. David Nail's cover of Adele's "Someone Like You" should move up a few spots as it's getting a lot of love from WUSN Chicago. To make room for some of the new songs, it looks like a couple songs will get bumped out of the top 60, maybe just temporarily, and I'd guess we'll see Sara Evans' "Anywhere" drop out (I think this one's done), and Steve Holy and Gwen Sebastian might also get knocked out of the top 60, although any of these songs could be in the mix with Jaida Dreyer and Andy Gibson in a battle for the last few spots on the chart.

Dropping Off: Steve Holy's "Hauled Off And Kissed Me" and Gwen Sebastian's "Met Him In A Motel Room"
Comments:
Not a lot of chart movement to speak of this week. Some songs are gaining quite well, but not really anyone wants to drop. Look for Little Big Town to hold on to a 2nd and probably final week at #1, with Hunter Hayes coming up fast from behind, and poor Josh Turner still gaining ground, but not finding a route to #1. Jana Kramer is also hanging in there, having hit the top 5 last week, and this week she may sneak up to #4 with Blake on his way down, but the white hot Jason Aldean is neck and neck with her. Keith Urban is also hanging in there just outside the top 5, with Dustin Lynch, Easton Corbin, and Carrie Underwood all picking up steam in the lower part of the top 10.
Tim McGraw's "Truck Yeah" continues to struggle, only slowly moving toward the top 10. After stalling at #11, the bottom has fallen out for the Zac Brown Band's "The Wind", and the song begins its plunge this week, officially becoming their lowest peaking single and their first to miss the top 10. Things are tough on the chart these days, with even Miranda Lambert and Rascal Flatts needing more weeks than usual to crack the top 15. Jake Owen also started off a bit slower, coming off two big #1 hits, but now "The One That Got Away" has caught fire and is blasting up the chart. Luke Bryan is also red hot with his latest, "Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye", and despite a bit of a slower start, Eric Church's "Creepin'" is now picking up the pace and will likely battle with Jerrod Niemann for the last top 20 spot this week.
Did I mention that the chart is jam-packed right now? Aside from the aforementioned Jerrod Niemann tune, Big & Rich and Lady Antebellum have also been feeling it big time. Big & Rich continue to barely hang in there, and after cracking the top 20 last week, Lady A will get pushed back again this week and may be almost done. Taylor Swift is also barely moving after a phony start a few weeks ago that was nothing but smoke and mirrors. Darius Rucker had a phony start last week as well, thanks to Clear Channel, and he can thank them for his 2nd week chart hangover that'll send him back out of the top 30. Replacing him in the top 30 will be Florida Georgia Line's hot-selling debut "Cruise", blasting up several spots. Dierks Bentley is also on the move and should close in on the top 30.
Kristen Kelly, Jon Pardi, and Rodney Atkins all continue to move slowly, while Thomas Rhett's sophomore single "Beer With Jesus" continues its strong start and should hit the top 40. Newcomer Kacey Musgraves is also off to a very impressive start and I've got a feeling that she's gonna be looking at a very impressive add total come Monday, as she already closes in on the top 40, passing several songs that have been out for a few months. Alan Jackson will hopefully crack the top 50 this week, and I think Kix Brooks' new single will debut, but that's about all the interesting news at the bottom of the chart. Gary Allan's new single isn't out to radio yet and has only charted based on airplay in San Antonio, so he probably won't make any big moves until another week or two has passed. Chesney's latest doesn't look likely to begin its climb until next week. That leaves Brooks as possibly the only debut, with Jaida Dreyer hoping to re-enter, although she'll be competing with Steve Holy, Gwen Sebastian, and Andy Gibson for the last spot or two on the chart.

jhomes87 I really enjoy these predictions. Looks like you don't think Kenny will get the Clear Channel deal. I hope you're right.
I see that of 15 early adds stations on Mediabase, Kacey already has six, and four of those are Clear Channel. I hope they don't get all revolutionary on us and decide to throw the hourly deal her way. I love the song and want to see if have a legitimate, full chart run. Doubt they would do that, but it would be one way to add some pizzazz to what has become a very tiresome gimmick.
Looks like slim pickings for recurrents this week and next, but there could be some head knocking for a couple weeks after that as so many songs are very flat right now and so many other big names are releasing new ones. (On Mediabase there are no recurrents this week, only Blake next week and probably only ZBB the week after).

I don't expect either Kenny or Kacey to get any extra special treatment from Clear Channel. At least, not spins once an hour. And so far we've only seen that tactic used on lead singles. Kenny did get a big debut with "Come Over" but it wasn't from hourly spins. Carrie's "Blown Away" never got it because it wasn't the lead single, and they hadn't unveiled the practice until after "Good Girl" was released.
I don't think Kacey will get the deal at all. She's too new for Clear Channel to do something like that. But I think she's gonna get a lot of adds tomorrow. I am a bit worried that Gary Allan could get some Clear Channel love, though. I hope not--I like Gary, but I don't like the spin-on-the-hour practice. If I had to guess what Clear Channel is thinking, they would probably be looking for the next lead singles from Brad Paisley or even Chris Young or Sara Evans. Billy Currington and George Strait would also be possibilities. Blake Shelton's next lead single seems like a lock to get a big CC debut, assuming they're still doing the 'practice' then, but I surely hope not. Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, and The Band Perry will have lead singles out as their next releases, and I'd bet all of them get the CC special, unfortunately.
Unless Gary Allan gets it or Brad Paisley suddenly drops something on us, I'd say The Band Perry could be next, simply because I get a sense that it won't be long for new music from them. I think it'll be a bit longer yet for George, Blake, Keith, and Lady A, and I'm not entirely sure what Billy Currington's plans are or if he's 'big enough' to get the CC special. But I don't expect any hourly spins for "El Cerrito Place" or "Merry Go 'Round".

So you think Aaron Lewis is going to stay on? I have a feeling he'll get pulled, but you never know.

Definitely a pretty good chance that Aaron could leave, but I couldn't quite justify pulling him off. He's up 25k in audience on Mediabase since Monday, with a small drop in spins. If he re-bullets on Billboard, he's safe. If he loses 1k and 1 spin and that causes him to lose his bullet, he's gone...I just don't know that it will happen. In any case, I don't expect "Endless Summer" to last much longer on the chart at all.

Dropping Off: Blake Shelton's "Over", Jaida Dreyer's "Confessions", and Andy Gibson's "Summer Back"
Comments:
Hunter Hayes has had a strong chart run and it'll pay off in a #1 hit for him on the 9/29 Billboard chart. Josh Turner will return to #2, with a much higher audience than he had 2 weeks ago when he was there, but still waiting for the top spot. He may have a chance to hold Hunter to just 1 week at the top, but that's not a guarantee by any means, with Jason Aldean looking to be at #3 and on a fast pace. Little Big Town's 2-week #1 hit "Pontoon" will slide back to #4, while newcomer Jana Kramer will be fighting to hold at #5 against fellow newcomer Dustin Lynch, whose hit "Cowboys And Angels" has really been picking up steam.
Carrie Underwood's "Blown Away" has caught fire, while Easton Corbin's "Lovin' You Is Fun" continues to do pretty well also. Keith Urban is now on his way down, after a #6 peak last week with Act Of Valor soundtrack single "For You". Look for the last top 10 spot to be up for grabs between Lee Brice and Miranda Lambert...Miranda will be trying to replace husband Blake's "Over" in this week's top 10, but she's slowed down considerably, while Brice's "Hard To Love" continues a solid pace. Tim McGraw also continues to move very slowly, with Jake Owen and Luke Bryan closing in quickly.
Big & Rich have an album coming out in a couple of days, but lead single "That's Why I Pray" looks like it might be done. The song may be able to move back up to its previous peak of #16, but it looks like it could lose its bullet and be on its next-to-last chart week. Taylor Swift is also struggling, though not likely to drop just yet. However, her standstill pattern isn't gonna help her move up, especially with Greg Bates and Eric Church closing the gap. Jerrod Niemann is also moving slowly but should advance a few more spots, while Lady A's "Wanted You More" continues to run on fumes and may be another song in its next-to-last week on the chart.
Meanwhile, Kip Moore and Florida Georgia Line continue to look strong, while the Zac Brown Band's "The Wind"--their first single to miss the top 10--will plummet way down into the 20's in its last chart week. Edens Edge, Kristen Kelly, and Jon Pardi all continue to make slow progress, and Dierks Bentley has also slowed up a bit, but should have no problem picking up the pace and passing some of the newer artists soon. Look for Kenny Chesney's latest, "El Cerrito Place", to jump right into the mix, looking at a likely debut of #33 or thereabouts. Thomas Rhett's "Beer With Jesus" continues to do well, but doing even better is Kacey Musgraves' debut "Merry Go 'Round", which looks poised to blast into the top 40 in just its 3rd week. Rodney Atkins and the Randy Rogers Band remain idling along, and after cracking the top 40 in recent weeks, will likely be just below the threshold again this week, along with Parmalee.
Gary Allan's latest single, "Every Storm (Runs Out Of Rain)", should move up a few spots on adds date, setting itself up for an even bigger move next week. Due West, Miss Willie Brown, Kelleigh Bannen, and especially Katie Armiger have all struggled this week and could each drop back a few spots. Alan Jackson should stick around just inside the top 50, hoping to move up some more next week.
With Kenny being the obvious Hot Shot debut, and Blake being the only recurrent, a couple of songs are likely to get bumped off the chart, so we're likely to say goodbye to Jaida Dreyer and Andy Gibson again. Jaida's catchy "Confessions" has made it as high as #57 on very little promotional strength from her label, while Curb hasn't been able to do hardly anything with Gibson's radio-friendly sophomore tune "Summer Back", as it's gone only as high as #58. But the new single from the Zac Brown Band, "Goodbye In Her Eyes", has gotten some early unsolicited airplay and should debut, and it also looks like Gloriana's latest, "Can't Shake You", should move ahead of Jaida and Andy in audience, and net Gloriana a top 60 placement. There's a slight chance that Jaida could hang on, but she'll also be competing with new releases from The Farm, Gwen Sebastian, and JT Hodges, all of whom look very close to charting.

Dropping Off: Keith Urban's "For You", Zac Brown Band's "The Wind", and D. Vincent Williams' "Down By The River"
Comments:
After looking strong earlier in the week, Hunter Hayes has slipped back, and that should allow Jason Aldean to pick up the #1. Dustin Lynch continues to surge, and Jana Kramer is also holding strong, as the two newcomers battle for the #3 spot. Look for Carrie's "Blown Away" to blast into the top 5, while Josh Turner's "Time Is Love" falls fast. Easton Corbin continues to look pretty strong, but Lee Brice is closing in a bit, and both Jake Owen and Luke Bryan are moving very fast, closing in on the top 10. Miranda Lambert should get the #10 spot this week, just holding off Jake, but he looks bound to make the pass sooner or later. Meanwhile, Tim McGraw continues to be stuck just outside the top 10, not really gaining much ground. Miranda passed him 2 weeks ago, Lee got past him last week, Jake should go by this week, and Luke looks in line to pass Tim next, likely this coming week. Rascal Flatts is also moving a bit slower, and Taylor Swfit is moving slower yet, though she'll back herself into the #15 spot, albeit not due to her small gains, but rather the departure of Keith Urban from the top 10, and Big & Rich tumbling down as well.
Eric Church should pick up a few more spots, and both Greg Bates and Justin Moore continue to do pretty well. Jerrod Niemann, however, continues a very slow trek towards the top 15. Meanwhile, Toby Keith will have his hands full with Kip Moore and Florida Georgia Line as the songs all race toward the top 20. Compared to them, though, Kenny Chesney is coming up at light speed with his latest, "El Cerrito Place", off to a great start, and set to crack the top 25 this week. Brad Paisley is looking at a top 25 start with his "Southern Comfort Zone", aided by hourly spins nearly all day Friday at Clear Channel stations. Lady Antebellum will fall way back and, like Big & Rich, will have just 1 more week on the chart before they go recurrent.
Dierks Bentley is picking up a bit of steam as he closes in on the top 30, while Jon Pardi and Kristen Kelly continue to hang in there, just outside the top 30. Jon has picked up the pace a bit this week, at least. Thomas Rhett and Kacey Musgraves continue their promising starts as they move up through the 30's, while Brantley Gilbert continues to get bumped back. Look for Gary Allan to jump into the top 40 this week, with Lauren Alaina still hanging in there. Rodney Atkins and Maggie Rose are also hanging around, hoping to get back into the top 40. The Zac Brown Band's "Goodbye In Her Eyes" should jump about a dozen spots, easily into the top 50, and we could see Alan Jackson and Gloriana also pick up a few spots.
As mentioned earlier, Brad Paisley will obviously have the biggest debut, and normally I think we'd have a few other debuts with all the big new songs at radio, but this week looks like a super competitive week, where the #60 song may have around 500k in audience. Faith Hill's "American Heart" looks like it should sneak on the chart, and should pick up the pace later with adds date not until the 1st. JT Hodges may have the inside track for the final spot on the chart, but D. Vincent Williams has a decent chance to hang on (poor DVW...he was at 422k last week and could improve from that, yet might get bumped off). Also in the running will be Clay Walker, The Farm, Joanna Smith, and Craig Campbell, but they'll likely have to wait 'til there are more spaces on the chart after next week's housecleaning.

Comments:
Jason Aldean will hold down the top spot for a 2nd week, with labelmate Dustin Lynch taking his debut single up to #2 and hoping to follow Jason. Jana Kramer continues to hang in there and may be able to sneak up to #3, but Carrie Underwood is closing fast. Lee Brice has also surged big time and appears to be next in line after Carrie. Easton Corbin, on the other hand, has slowed down a bit as he continues to work toward the top 5. Look for Miranda Lambert to move up a bit, while Jake Owen and Luke Bryan storm into the top 10. Tim McGraw will remain just outside the top 10, as his "Truck" continues to really spin its wheels. Rascal Flatts has also slowed up again, but just really haven't had a speedy chart run as a whole. Still, they should have a comfortable lead over the next group of songs, including Eric Church, Greg Bates, and Justin Moore, all of whom should hit the top 15 this week.
Kip Moore and Florida Georgia Line are also on the move, while Jerrod Niemann continues to struggle toward the top 15. Look for Toby Keith to move into the top 20. Kenny Chesney should also hit the top 20 in just his 3rd week, and will likely be passing Toby and some of the songs around him in the next couple of weeks. Brad Paisley will also close in on the top 20, and like Chesney, may need only 3 weeks to get there. Brad's "Southern Comfort Zone" will only be in its 2nd chart week, though, and of course it got the big Clear Channel debut last week, but nonetheless, it's held up pretty strongly through the weekend and should move up a few spots, albeit mostly thanks to some songs going recurrent.
Dierks Bentley, Jon Pardi, and Thomas Rhett will all enter the top 30 this week, with newcomer Kristen Kelly hoping to snag that last top 30 spot by holding off the fast-charging new Zac Brown Band tune, "Goodbye In Her Eyes". Kacey Musgraves and Gary Allan continue to do quite well (though not ZBB or Chesney fast, but still), while Chris Cagle and Brantley Gilbert continue to move slowly. Expect a solid top 40 debut, likely at #37, for Taylor Swift's new tune, "Begin Again". Lauren Alaina, Rodney Atkins, and Maggie Rose all look good to re-enter the top 40, with Alan Jackson closing in a bit.
Kix Brooks, Gloriana, and Faith Hill should all see big moves up the chart this week, and both Joanna Smith and Little Big Town should see nice debuts. Clay Walker and The Farm also look likely to debut.
