I'm hopeful it sounds good, but I am happy that "What I'm Leaving For" is no longer their lowest peaking single as I loved that song a lot and was always sad it got cut short.

always excited for new Kip Moore music, sad that "Crazy One More Time" did nothing but I am not entirely surprised at this point. Hope his album still comes out this summer as he had said previously

^^i hope he takes at least a few months off. Its ok to take a break. But im sure he will have something new by august I mean "Up" peaked in March so it's already been a few months since he's been on production. |

Country Aircheck 2022 Summer Print Issue Mickey performed two new uptempo songs at Essence Fest yesterday - My Side of the Country and Make It Me. I assume one of those will be the next single and they're very lighthearted so it should bode well at radio if they decide to push her. |

Guyton needs to just sing. i love her voice. but her non music stuff, i think is holding her back from being a star. That's easy for you to say, but no matter how hard she tries she will never be able to escape the fact that she is a woman, or the fact that she is a person of color, in an industry that is still not very welcoming of either. I think you bring up a valid point in that most music consumers care more about the music itself than the industry drama, but unfortunately the industry drama is Mickey's literal reality. She can either alienate a few people by speaking out against mistreatment, or she can settle for mistreatment and be miserable. Of course awareness seems to be expanding the last couple years, and at least a tiny bit of progress has been made, but that's largely because of people like her who are using their platform to bring awareness. Insert obligatory mention of the fact that Morgan Wallen was going out to college bars and shoving his tongue down barely-legal throats in the middle of a pandemic while his pregnant girlfriend sat at home alone, and yet HIS non-music stuff isn't holding him back from being a star... |

With all the recognition she gets from Crossroads and performing on all the awards shows I’m sure she could go on a tour if she wanted too. |

So I’m excited to hear her next single. It would be cool if she made a song about being a Mom or a song about some good friends in the industry. I wish her the best and I hope she succeeds. |

Has anyone heard when Ashley McBryde might be releasing the lead single from her upcoming album? I saw an interview with her back in either February or March. At that time, she said the completed album had been turned into the label.

It’ll be an independent release but Bobby Pinson will soon release a new single called “The Shave.”
His first new music in 17 years. He’s been a songwriter for other artists since his record deal with RCA Nashville.
It’s a great song, btw. Could've easily been on his Man Like Me album.

Does this mean he is considered a Country musician after starting his solo career post Rascal Flatts releasing Christian music? |
