www.billboard.biz/bbbiz/industry/retail/chart-moves-wale-s-flower-blooms-glee-s-1005719952.storyThe Billboard 200: This week on the Billboard 200, Michael Buble's "Christmas" album jingled for a fourth straight week at No. 1 while Anthony Hamilton's "Back to Love" was the tally's highest debut -- arriving at No. 12. Outside the top 10 there were movers and shakers as usual; let's take a look: -- Snoop Dogg & Wiz Khalifa: The hip-hop pairing debuts at No. 29 with their "Mac + Devin Go To High School" soundtrack, from the forthcoming film in which they both star. The album bows with 38,000 and marks Snoop's 20th charting album. His first, "Doggy Style," entered at No. 1 almost exactly 18-years ago, on the chart dated Dec. 11, 1993. For Khalifa, it's his second chart hit, following his Atlantic debut "Rolling Papers" (No. 2 in April). -- Metallica: A sneak-attack release of sorts, the rock band's "Beyond Magnetic" EP was released exclusively to iTunes last week and starts with 36,000 at No. 32. The four-song set -- comprised of unreleased songs recorded during the band's "Death Magnetic" album sessions -- became widely-available to all digital retailers in its second week. That expansion could aid its chart fortunes next week -- or perhaps at least slow its slide down the tally. -- Vince Guaraldi Trio/Charlie Brown: The classic "Charlie Brown Christmas" TV soundtrack achieved its highest rank on the Billboard 200 last week (No. 27) and continues to climb. This week it bounds to No. 23 with 41,000 sold -- a gain of 19%. Though the set was first released in 1965, it did not reach any of Billboard's lists until 1987. That was when the title hit No. 13 on our Top Holiday Albums chart. However, it wouldn't appear on the Billboard 200 chart until Dec. 5, 2009 -- the week we changed our chart rules -- letting older albums (termed "catalog") chart alongside new releases. Since then, it's become an annual fixture on the list. During the 2010 Christmas season, the set topped out at No. 30. -- Doris Day: The legendary actress and singer returns to the Billboard 200 chart after a 47-year absence with the arrival of "My Heart" at No. 135. First released in the U.K., the set debuted at No. 9 on the Official U.K. Albums Chart, marking her first-ever top 10. The new album contains 10 new recordings, plus three older Day tunes. She last appeared on the Billboard 200 in 1964, when "Love Him!" spent eight weeks on the list, peaking at No. 102.
