Chart Highlights:

-Carrie Underwood has a huge week. She reaches the 50 point threshold which is the first time that has ever happened in PMB Country Update History.
-LBT’s Tornado continues to grow; it reaches the runner-up spot in just three weeks. Also a great week for Gary Allan as he makes the podium for the first time.
-El Cerrito Place only lost 6 votes, but it slipped to number 4 after one week at the top.
-Greatest Gainer goes to Greg Bates with a huge re-enter in the top 5, Taylor follows with her second single to chart from her new album Red, as Begin Again receives the Hot Shot Debut honors. Begin Again is one of three songs debuting along with Faith Hill’s American Heart and Luke Bryan’s Billboard top 10 Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye.
-Easton Corbin looks like he is almost done after a historic run on the chart. He has now charted for 32 weeks.
-Kacey Musgraves was number one just two weeks ago, but her chart run has gone 01-06-15 since then.
-Four songs tying for the 12th position is the largest tie we have ever had for charting songs.
-Jana Kramer does not receive a vote in her last week of eligibility ending her run of receiving one vote for every week of the calendar year.
-25 voters is our largest sum since mid-March..great participation guys!

Chart Highlights

-Gary Allan one points Carrie Underwood to get his first number one. Carrie has way more number one positions, but Gary is featured on over half of the ballots this week allowing him to sneak by Carrie for this week, other members of the top 5: Kenny Chesney rebounding slightly, likely Billboard #1 Lee Brice, and Greg Bates debut.
-Little Big Town slips back a bit this week, while Kacey Musgraves sees a bit of a rebound.
-Gloriana gets the Hot Shot Debut honors by coming in the top 10, while fellow debut Thompson Square earns the Greatest Gainer honors. Sarah Darling makes the chart for the first time, and Alan Jackson returns after two weeks off.
