Anyone else think she may settle down and have a kid after this era?
I know they would be beautiful. :'(

After all the touring for this era, she'll be turning 30. I'll give it a 75% chance that she'll decide to have a child.

After this era, I think it would be the perfect time for her to take some time and start a family. During this time she can release a "Greatest Hits" album and include some new recordings. She could release the new recordings as singles just to ensure she has some radio presence. Maybe during this time she can record a full length Christmas album as well? Just as long as she stays somewhat prevalent during her hiatus, I'm happy!

^there's also that gospel album she's talked about that could be recorded during that time.I'd really be good with any of the 3 mentioned as long as she stays in the game.:)
I am in agreement that there's a good chance the Fishers will be starting a family after this album cycle.

Yeah, I just hope she doesn't take a Shania-like hiatus and disappear completely. :(
I'd be ok with a Greatest Hits album with a few new songs, and a couple of singles from it. And then of course the full Christmas album from her that I've been dying for.

Thanks for that. I didn't know that about Chenoweth. Interesting...and that was even 7 years ago.

The album is currently #25 & #53 on the UK itunes album chart. I'm hoping it'll do well. I've just purchased it and will be listening through it now! So excited

GG is at number 8 this morning and going down. Is it just me or is Carrie the only one that waits a while before releasing the next single. I could be wrong, maybe others do as well.

I think a lot of artists wait until their song is outside the top 10 before releasing another one

Carrie was just (briefly) interviewed at BBC One, on the Breakfast morning show and she'll perform at the end of the show...
they touched the gay support subject and she quickly said she's "pro-non-judgment", "pro-loving others"... it was very quick and she handled it great, and when they asked about the reaction of those who didn't like her comments, she went on to say she doesn't know cuz she's smart enough to stay away from those negative things...
one thing I think she still needs to work more is her shyness on interviews with new people she doesn't know...
*EDIT*
She's singing an acoustic version of BLOWN AWAY... not a big fan since this is more of an orchestra-type of song, but still, great!!

Loved the interview and the acoustic performance. If anyone has a hq copy of it, I would be highly grateful. :)

It's interesting you say that, because I think that's one thing that attracts fans to her. She's shy. It's kind of like, "she shy, yea, just like me".

What an excellent interview... The British seem a little more upfront in their interviews, perhaps because they've never had the opportunity to ask her questions before? Nevertheless, the interview was great and Carrie's answers were perfect, she handled the gay-questions perfectly.

Here's the webchat, complete with the kick to the interviewer I was also surprised to find out that Carrie has never been asked to be a mentor on Idol. What's up with that?

"Blown Away" is #232 & #256 and"Good Girl" #318 & #339 on UK itunes The album is up to #21 & #31 too. Hopefully with a video and some promotion "Blown Away" can become a decent-sized hit for Carrie here.

FANTASTIC performance of BA! They changed it up from the BBC Breakfast one and it's amazing!! I love the musicianship of these guys!
