Ughhh, I can't believe Good Feeling is going to be the main competition for SFTTR for the next few weeks. I hope GF peaks quickly because it burnt on me like the second day I bought it. I give "Good Feeling" another two weeks or so before it slowly starts its descent. I think the most immediate threat to Adele is David Guetta/Nicki Minaj but I don't see it having the power to knock Adele out of #1 as we head into Grammy season. Another outside contender is Jessie J but she'd need something to spike her sales to that level. I think Adele is likely safe until something unforeseen explodes (hopefully Gotye) |

It's been a really long time since Madonna was number one and I feel if she couldn't do it with amazing songs like Hung Up (U.S only) and 4 Minutes then she'll have a hard time doing it this time around.
But things are different with the Super Bowl this time so I may be wrong, especially if it's a great track. Should be at least a moderate hit if not better though I expect good things.

Another outside contender is Jessie J but she'd need something to spike her sales to that level. I think Adele is likely safe until something unforeseen explodes (hopefully Gotye) Oh yeah, and I think Drake/Rihanna is going to be another #1 contender in a month or two. |

I just realized Jessie J sings "Domino" and not Katy Perry!! :o This sounds exactly like a Katy song, so no surprise this is doing significantly better on US radio than "Price Tag". I'm predicting this will go top 10 or 5. If Katy included this song on her album, it'd be a shoo-in for 6th #1 and breaking MJ's record. TOTGA is crap and thankfully not gonna hit #1. Yeah everyone's trying to steal Katy Perry's sound from Jessie J to Madonna...talk about reductive. *sips tea* I personally love Domino but I would've swore it was a Katy Perry track if I didn't know better. You are so annoying. Madonna already did Katy Perry, before Katy Perry did herself. |

I would like Domino more if I didn't feel like I have heard the same song from Kesha to Katy to Jessie repeated over and over again for the past few years. Jessie does have a great voice though. Agreed. Thankfully Dr. Luke is starting to diversify his music (e.g. Good Feeling; Where Have You Been). |
