Yah- it must be the soundtrack. Not sure why the to-date total would be a bit lower than when reported some time back. And, that Huey Lewis GH is just the audio on iTunes. The physical release included a DVD and a version without the DVD. I've seen the album only version at Target. It was $4.99. I almost bought it. And it's $5.00 at Amazon right now: www.amazon.com/Greatest-Hits-Huey-Lewis-News/dp/B000TEMRXA/ref=ntt_mus_dp_dpt_1

Taylor Swift's albums were discounted at the local Target here...Like 6 or 7 for her older albums, could be the explanation of the increase.

Does anybody know Skillet's sales with Christian sales for Awake and maybe Comatose if possible. I don't have total sales but in the couple of months I've been keeping track Awake has been losing about 10% of sales from the weekly numbers each week, so I would estimate that they have somewhere around 750,000. I've only seen Comatose show up briefly in that time span so I have no data at all on that.

The Billboard 200: Adele. You may have heard of her? Yes, her "21" album is still No. 1 on the Billboard 200 this week, claiming a 17th nonconsecutive frame atop the list. As previously reported, that makes it the longest-running No. 1 album since the soundtrack to the "The Bodyguard" spend 20 weeks locked at No. 1 in 1992 and 1993. But wait -- there were other interesting movers and shakers on the Billboard 200 (and elsewhere) this week. Read on… -- Selena Gomez: "When the Sun Goes Down's" current single, "Love You Like a Love Song," is her biggest radio hit ever as it rises 16-15 on Hot 100 Airplay, 56.4 million in audience (up 8%). The track also climbs 24-23 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It's on the verge of being her biggest hit ever (under her own name), as it looks like it might surpass the No. 21 peak of "Who Says." (We say "under her own name" because she was part of the Disney's Friends for Change ensemble that hit No. 20 with "Send It On" in 2009.) Meanwhile, her "When the Sun Goes Down" album is in its 30th week on the Billboard 200 (holding steady at No. 81) with cumulative sales of 553,000. -- Etta James: The late singer, who died on Jan. 20, nets her highest-charting album ever as "The Best of Etta James - 20th Century Masters: The Millennium Collection" rises from No. 162 to No. 46 with 8,000 sold (up 149% over the previous week) according to Nielsen SoundScan. Impressive, since the tracking week only reflected two days of sales after her passing. Until this week, the R&B/blues legend had never gone higher than No. 68, when "At Last!" rose to that position in 1961. -- James Morrison: The British singer dropped by NBC's "Today" show on Jan. 17, and in turn, his performance yields a 661% sales jump for his "The Awakening" album. It returns to the list (No. 147) for the first time since its debut frame on Oct. 29, 2011 (No. 49). -- Girls Generation: The nine member South Korean female pop vocal group makes a splash on the Billboard charts this week. The group's album "The Boys" debuts at No. 2 on the World Albums chart and at No. 22 on the Heatseekers Albums tally. The S.M./Interscope set sold just under 1,000 copies. Girls Generation joins fellow K-Pop (short for Korean pop) acts 2NE1, Super Junior and Wonder Girls, who have all notched top five sets on the World Albums chart in the past year.

^Could happen. Over the holidays, CDs were selling more than twice as much as digital albums, but obviously that trend has ceased in these slower music-buying months.
Hopefully sales won't dip below 4.8m in a week- otherwise, new record low. It's bound to happen at some point, though.

I wonder if we'll have a week this year where digital outsells physical? Digital continues to increase year over year, Cds continue to decline We see year over year overall increases because digital is growing faster than CDs are declining. At some point in the future Digital should overtake physical
