Everyone remembers the 6 minute album version and 4 minute single version of Al Stewart's 1977 song "Year of the Cat". But does Premiere Radio Networks dislike this Al Stewart song since when it airs on early 1977 AT40: The 70's episodes it gets edited down playing the intro then the first verse then the chorus only?

LOVE this. It's one of those smooth 70s classics that sound fantastic while driving in the summer.

Not a fan. Maybe not an instant radio station changer, but definitely nothing I'd want to hear very often. Of course, Al Stewart doesn't generally do it for me.

Personally one of my favorite songs ever. It made my top 5 of the 1900s back in 2000. Still find it amazing. Great musicality, top notch production, smooth vocals, excellent choice of instruments and song structure. Sounds like sunset, vacation ride by the ocean... one of the examples of high-quality music that defined the 1970s
