A few that come to mind:
The lyrics as a whole to One Direction's "Little Things"
"She likes it when I bring home fresh fajitas, and mix up a pitcher of margaritas" - Blake Shelton, "Doin' What She Likes"
"I have loved you for a thousand years; I'll love you for a thousand more" - Christina Perri, "A Thousand Years"
"And when you smile, the whole world stops and stares for a while" - Bruno Mars, "Just The Way You Are"
"She handed me a bottle of water with tequila, I already know she's a keeper just from this one small act of kindness" - Ed Sheeran, "Sing"

something something american apparel underwear This line gets on my nerves a lot. And in 1D'S Story Of My Life I HATE, DESPISE, DETEST this one line in the chorus, "I'll spend her love, until she's broke inside" I take this line as if Harry (he's on the chorus unless I'm mistaken) is going to abuse a woman. It just ANGERS AND INFURIATES me that the one 1D song most people love (or at least tolerate) has clues of woman abuse. I'm sorry for that rant and I'm done with it

When people have no money they say they are "broke", so if someone has spent all of their love, then they are "broke" inside. I highly doubt it was used to hint at abuse.

Snoop Dogg's part in "Wiggle" - "...till I deeply penetrate it then I take it out and wipe it off..." Dafuq is wrong with you, Snoop? TMI dude, did not need that disturbing image in my head...

And also taste my raindrops, K boo Oh yes, that's a yucky one too...in fact I could do without Snoop's verse in general and honestly even the rest of the song is lyrically stupid lol...the beat is cool and the whistling part is super catchy IMO but as it stands that's all the song has going for it which is why it didn't been peak that high in my chart. I gotta admit though aside from the lyrics I find the track irresistibly catchy.

OH here is a big one that really pissed me off in its time: T.I.'s part in "Blurred Lines": "I'll give you something big enough to tear your ass in two" like TMI dude...and except the word "ass", the radio doesn't even modify this line at all letting the listeners know exactly what he's saying.

And pretty much most of the lyrics in "Blurred Lines" really...if Robin Thicke is ever a suspect of sexual assault/rape, I can assure you the line "I know you want it" (along with "but you're a good girl") will be labeled "Exhibit A".
also the entire chorus of "Pumped Up Kicks" (great song, and I love how it addresses a big and tragic event but the tone is just disturbing...)
and a huge one: "can you blow my whistle, baby" gee I wonder what he means by that...
in fact we should make a thread called "catchy songs with bad lyrics" lol
btw sorry jt I hope you can forgive me for triple posting

"She looks so perfect standing there in my American apparel underwear"
All of Wiggle, Talk Dirty, and Blurred Lines.
"When will the bass drop (repeated probably about 100 times)"
"The only time we really talk is when our clothes are coming off, I like us better when we're Wasted"

Beyonce - 1+1
I love this song but:
"I don't know much about algebra (but I know) One plus one equals two"

I've actually found "what rhymes with hug me" very amusing rather than disturbing lol. It gave me a good laugh a couple of times. Well each to their own I guess.

Admittedly I'm not a fan whatsoever of Jana Kramer's vocals, but her debut "Why Ya Wanna's chorus lyrics really annoyed me with the "Why ya gotta, why ya wanna's".
Also "Country backwood, homegrown hicks" and "hold up your cup and take another swig" in Craig Morgan's "Bonfire".

The entirety of "Red." Just...why? A line in Miranda Lambert's "Bathroom Sink " that bugs me came up today. "I'm lookin' forward to the girl I wanna be" (Well, you're looking forward to being a girl, when really you are becoming a grown, adult woman? I know she is a girl, but a grown woman using that to describe herself, instead of referring to herself as the woman that she is, always annoys me.

"Baby, let me put your panties to the side." - "Show Me"
When I first heard the song on the radio, I flipped to it in the middle and thought, "Wow, a Chris Brown song I actually kinda like." Then he dropped that lyric...

"Open ya mouth, taste the rainbow taste my Skittles ah!" It does not taste like Skittles no matter how much feminine hygiene products and soap you use in that location. Starkist Chunk Light is a far more accurate description. "I taste just like candy, candy, I taste just like candy, So dance with me" No it does not. She hot as a stove Her name is Nicole She needs to change her name to Electrolux.

Happy by Pharrell Williams annoys me. It annoys me THAT much that I turn off my radio when they play it. PLUS: - It spent almost a year in the Dutch Top 40. - It's totally overplayed. - I'm not getting happy from this anymore. Other songs that annoy me: Baby by Justin Bieber All of Me by John Legend Wiggle by Jason Derulo Don't know what else I think you misread the title of the thread. It's for specific lyrics that annoy you, not songs.

The part in Travis Tritt's 2007 remake of "You Never Take Me Dancing" where he says the "Yee, Yee, Yee's".
Absolutely zero need for it and it annoys the heck out of me.

S-H-O ME ME. I don't hate it but i don't like how the title of the song is SHOW ME and she spells it without the W.

Every damn lyric in Girl in a Country Song. It just sounds like brats whining to me. Then again I love party country (so sue me, I'm 16)

A recent addition. I felt like this one was appropriate for here. It kind of irritates me when in "Black Widow" Iggy says "[...]have you on your knees, praise Jesus, hallelujah" It sounds a lot to me like religious mockery/bashing...

that's actually why I love that line anyways, that ties well into my new addition, from Porcupine Tree's fourteen-minute long masterpiece "Even Less". "And I may just waste away from doing nothing But I'm a martyr to even less" This may seem like a fine line, but what bugs me about it is that there's a old demo that has a different set of lyrics, that went "But Jesus was crucified for doing nothing And God is worshipped for doing even less." Steven Wilson censored the lyrics on the version that appeared on 1999's Stupid Dream, which still pisses me off today. He's a very anti-religious person, as evidenced by his lyrics. What puzzles me more is that on the album version, there's a line that goes... "F uck you and your book too You can have it back" The book is obviously the Bible. So he replaces one religion-bashing with another, which just makes no sense.
