This was an album track from Whitney's 2002 album Just Whitney. It was produced by Babyface and Rob Fusari. I remember when it first leaked prior to the album release, a lot of people were saying it sounded like one of Whitney's old uptempos. I didn't really hear that, but I still loved it. It was my favorite from the album at the time.

The Peter Rauhofer mix to this was scorching.

The Rauhofer mix helped to propel this to the top of Billboard's Club Play chart, making it Whitney's 12 chart topper there.

The whole Just Whitney album is very underrated. (Except "You Light Up My Life" which is still a horrid track no matter who sings it). Was way too short though. I wish L.A. Reid had managed to get Whitney to go back and cut the couple of new tracks he had picked out for a reissue.

Easily one of the best songs from that album.

loooove this. so catchy. as others have said, it's easily my favorite moment on Just Whitney...
I also agree that the JW is under-rated, though the "I'm gonna do whatever I want and don't care about anybody's advice" tracks ("Tell Me No", "Unashamed") are a bit cringey...and just sad...in light of her tragic passing. of course, this album came out 10 years before her death, but I can't help thinking things could've turned out differently if she had really listened to some of that advice and seriously re-evaluated some of her choices sooner. :(

The Peter Rauhofer mix to this was scorching. I liked both mixes but I prefer the NYC one overall. NYC Remix Retro Mix
