I listen to my area's (supposed) "Classic Rock" station, and once in a blue moon, to my surprise, I'll hear a song from my lifetime (I'm 20 years old) on their playlist. What are some songs from the last twenty years or less that you're already hearing on your classic rock station?
Here are the ones I've caught so far:
1994- Sheryl Crow: Strong Enough 1996- Alanis Morrissette: Head over Feet 1996- Alanis Morrissette: Hand in Pocket 1997- Natalie Imbruglia: Torn 2000- Sheryl Crow: Soak Up the Sun

I hear a lot of Nirvana, Pearl Jam, (insert popular grunge band here), etc. But it's not really something that surprises me. If 70s rock was getting played on classic rock stations in the 90s, what's wrong with playing 90s rock in the 10s?

Sirius XM should make a songs of 2000's music channel. They have one. It's called Pop2K.

However, what I don't agree with is playing "Rockstar" by Nickelback on Classic Rock, which my local CR has done since around 2008.

I've heard Barenaked Ladies and Crash Test Dummies on oldies stations. And I don't mean just their early 90's material, I mean their late 90's/early 00's material.

I heard Kryptonite on a classic rock station a year ago, but it flipped to Classic Hits (basically oldies without the 60s) soon after.
