Yes P!nk and Flo!
Hopefully Flo gets a chance in the Top 5 in a week or two. :)

Sooo who's #9? & As I predicted, Katy's 8th Top 3 from the "Teenage Dream" era(s). 'Starships' is gone & so is 'We Are Young' :'(

Rihanna's "Where Have You Been" stays at No. 6 on the Hot 100 (after reaching No. 5 earlier this month). The track pushes 4-3 on Radio Songs (120 million up 4%), inches 18-17 on On-Demand Songs (408,000, down 4%) and slides 9-13 on Digital Songs (82,000, down 20%) I'm surprised to see her streams and digital sales so low. Top 3 on radio and gaining, yet falling out of the top 10 on digital...strange. Glad to see Pink top 10 and Katy top 3! :) Those really are poor sales for the amount of AI WHYB is receiving. It seems like this Rihanna track isn't really resonating with the public like her big hits typically do. I did not know P!nk had so many top 10s. Congrats to her on getting another one. Her single is slowly growing on me. Katy's reaching the top 3 with her 8th single of the era is exciting. Now at worst she will have completed an era with six #1s and two #3s. Fantastic! :)

Kind of sad to see "Starships" gone, but it couldn't have been better timing. It fell out of the top ten the same week "Pound the Alarm" is released. Perfect!

Rihanna's single & album sales have been lackluster this era. Hopefully it'll change w/the next era?

Rihanna isn't the digital powerhouse she used to be. She has begun to level out, selling on a more consistent level than monster sales.
I just think its great she was able to rebound after two flops underperformers. They've turned things around, so now its best to end the era with WHYB. :)

Rihanna's big hits post-Disturbia have all been stronger in airplay than sales, I believe -- I don't think it's that surprising how WHYB is performing.
Funny how someone said they didn't know Pink had so many top tens, I was actually surprised it wasn't more, feels like she's been a consistent hitmaker for longer.

It's good, but she should've scanned a milli months ago. How, with the way her singles have been performing? B/c she released during the holiday season + had a huge #1 song out at the time same time. Even after that, she had 2 songs impacting Urban radio's Top 20. The album's chart run is similiar to "Rated R". I expect w/the next her to be full blown Pop.

BC (her biggest Urban hit this era) wasn't even on the album, and TTT never got a video, or promotion. Even with the Loud era, she didn't cross one million until March, and that was after 3 #1 singles. I understand your opinion, but just looking at her recent track record, it shouldn't be much of a surprise.

Rated R scanned a million on the week dated November 20, 2010. Loud reached one million the chart dated March 12, 2011. Loud, by that time, had two monsterous hits and one current hit that was quickly moving forward. It also had been put on many discount sales. Rated R debuted on the December 5, 2009 chart. It took it 51 weeks to reach one million. Loud debuted on the November 27, 2010 chart. It took it 16 weeks to reach one million. Talk That Talk debuted on the December 3, 2011 chart. So far, it has sold 946k selling roughly 9-6k a week. It should reach one million in another 6-9 weeks. 41-44 weeks to get to one million. Not too bad at all. Remember Loud had a huge slew of monsterous hits and is pretty much when Rihanna was at her peak in popularity so far, not to mention it was on sale somewhere at least every other week. Talk That Talk had the "Birthday Cake"/Chris Brown & "You Da One"/"Talk That Talk" fiascos.

It's a bit pitiful at the end of the day for someone of her caliber to continuously struggle to scan platinum w/major hits, but you, I, can also give her kudos for being consistent w/having platinums albums, Top 10s & #1s. I'm sure that's all her label is concerned about: platinum albums, Top 10s & #1s.

How is it pitiful, when the only album to have crossed 1 million this year so far is Adele?

The next album is her proper test. It has to contain yet another monster #1 such as WFL, OG etc to do well. If it doesn't, she might struggle to pass the gold level, although Q4 obviously helps.
I do think TTT underperformed a bit after Loud but it was more due to poor single release strategy than nothing else.

Poor Usher stuck at #10. I bet Jason Aldean will kick him out of the top 10 next week.

Katy made up a lot of ground between her and Carly on streaming! The airplay gap is tightening, too, and with Wide Awake on power rotation on z100, things might become really close here shortly.

This might sound challenging, but not when you're Rihanna and literally every album you have has had a monster smash on it (Pon de Replay, SOS, Umbrella, Rude Boy, Only Girl, We Found Love). After what "We Found Love" has done for Calvin every producer in the business is sending his best stuff to Rihanna...there is no doubt her lead single will be another mega #1 global smash.

Wow The A Team finally debuts! I hope it catches on here and doesn't stall out in the 60's-70's. It really needs to gain traction on CHR, and I have yet to see it in the top 100 on itunes.

What a nice rise for fun.! I hope they can sustain it and continue rising especially considering their airplay is still rather low.
