Love everything! I hope "Wish You Were Here" randomly turns around and gains again! :'( Fantastic jump for "Tornado" though! Hope it can make top 10 next week!!!! <3 I love that "Sitting On Top Of The World" is kicking ass! Hope it stays on for like...forever! <3 Surprised "Beauty And A Beat" fell out though! Any specific reason? Fantastic debut for Taylor!! I'm with josh, I love that "Boom Boom" & "Bom Bom" are next together. So random... I hope Kelly and Carrie can keep going up. And your video is amazing. I know there's more I want to say, but I've forgotten...

Slizzard, how do you make your weekly videos? I'd be interested in making one myself for my chart since I can't upload my 2+-hour podcast anywhere. I love your chart, by the way.

Ooh, questions to respond to! "Boom Boom" and "Bom Bom" ? *dead* I'm with josh, I love that "Boom Boom" & "Bom Bom" are next together. And a little late on "Euphoria" aren't you? lol Yeah, I hadn't heard it until recently. Surprised "Beauty And A Beat" fell out though! Any specific reason? Not really. It would be #51. Slizzard, how do you make your weekly videos? I'd be interested in making one myself for my chart since I can't upload my 2+-hour podcast anywhere. I love your chart, by the way. Thanks! I use iMovie. Steps: download videos from YouTube for new entries, trim a ~20 second clip in QuickTime for each one, import those into iMovie, cut 11 seconds from each one to use in the video. Then I just have to add the 50 clips in order on the timeline, add the text, fine adjustments, export, upload. Takes a few hours. You should be able to do the same in any video editor including Windows Movie Maker, but I wouldn't recommend using that.

If you like "Euphoria," you should really check out her album. It's great. I randomly fell in love with it again this week and am probably going to chart 2 songs now. lol

TOP 50: DECEMBER 16, 2012.Ellie is back to #1 for a second week with "Anything Could Happen", pushing "Little Talks" down to #3. "Va Va Voom" and "Ho Hey" score new peaks, at #3 and #5 respectively. "Tornado" bullets #11 to #6, scoring Little Big Town their second top ten hit – and instantly outpeaking the first ("Pontoon", which reached #7 in September). "Sweet Nothing" also enters the top 10, becoming Calvin Harris' third top ten hit, following "Bounce" (#9) and "Feel So Close" (#4). He's also reached the top 10 as a producer and/or featured artist (but not lead) with Cheryl's "Call My Name (#1), and "We Found Love" and "Where Have You Been" from Rihanna (#4 and #7 respectively). "Tongue Tied" enters the top 20 in week number 23 on the chart. I'm pretty sure that's a record. It probably has the most weeks on the chart for a non-top 15 hit, as well. Here's its chart run: 50 – 50 – 50 – 46 – 44 – 43 – 43 – 41 – 38 – 39 – 41 – 39 – 37 – 35 – 33 – 33 – 31 – 33 – 27 – 22 – 22 – 22 – 20. CERTIFICATION NEWS: two songs pass double platinum this week. Both of their titles have a word in common, whilst portraying opposite meanings (though the songs are basically about the same thing). Which songs are they? "Die Young" and "Live While We're Young", which are at #4 and #27 respectively this week. No other songs reach new thresholds. As you'd expect "Sitting On Top Of The World" is still the biggest hit on the chart by points, but "Some Nights" is catching up slightly. And by slightly, I really mean slightly – it's 19,055 points behind, compared to 19,601 last week. The double platinum #8 hit "Spectrum (Say My Name)" falls off the chart. Out of 18 weeks on, 16 of those were within the top 17. NOTE ON XMAS MUSIC: while I charted several Christmas songs in previous years, I've decided to retain my "current singles only" guideline for this holiday season. That means you won't be seeing "All I Want For Christmas Is You", "Last Christmas", "Christmas Tree" or anything clog the chart, nor will you be seeing anything from Delta's new Christmas EP (unless something is released as a single very soon). New holiday songs released (as singles) this year are eligible, however, but as of now I haven't heard any, so don't expect to see those either. I prefer all songs to have the same opportunity regardless of what time of the year it is, which is why I've decided on this. Though it's not like I listen to much Christmas music anyway. Just carry on as if it was just a regular month! 02 – 01 – 05 – 01 + "Anything Could Happen" – Ellie Goulding 01 – 02 – 03 – 01 − "Little Talks" – Of Monsters And Men 04 – 03 – 06 – 03 + "Va Va Voom" – Nicki Minaj 03 – 04 – 12 – 03 − "Die Young" – Ke$ha – * 2x Platinum* 08 – 05 – 08 – 05 + "Ho Hey" – The Lumineers 11 – 06 – 06 – 06 + "Tornado" – Little Big Town 05 – 07 – 09 – 04 − "Wish You Were Here" – Delta Goodrem – * Platinum* 09 – 08 – 11 – 02 − "Try" – P!nk – * Platinum* 12 – 09 – 09 – 09 + "Sweet Nothing" – Calvin Harris feat. Thanks again for all the comments! TOP 50: DECEMBER 23, 2012."Anything Could Happen" remains at #1 for a third (non-consecutive) week, while "Va Va Voom" moves up to #2, matching the peak of "Starships" to become Nicki's equal-third highest charter. "Your Body" finally enters the top ten in week 13 on the chart, becoming Christina's second top ten hit after "Not Myself Tonight" (#4). "Feel The Love" scores the highest debut of the week at #12. It isn't really a current single anymore, but it's so good that I had to bend the rule and let it chart anyway. "Scream & Shout", "Beneath Your Beauty", "Troublemaker" and "Rest Of My Life" also debut, and "Girl On Fire" is back on for a 10th week. Not much else to say. CERTIFICATION NEWS: three hits go platinum this week – the current top two songs "Anything Could Happen" and "Va Va Voom", and "Your Body" which is down at #7. "Sitting On Top Of The World" still has the highest point total, of course, and with a noteworthy rebound from #30 to #23, it actually overtakes runner-up "Some Nights", increasing its lead from 19,055 points last week to 19,097 now. Carrie Underwood's double platinum smash "Blown Away" falls off the chart, and so does "Skyfall", which managed platinum despite a #8 peak. This is the second last chart of the year. Awesome Slizzard!!! Love the rises for Taylor and Bridgit and the debut for Ludacris!
I tried making one of these videos on Movie Maker earlier today and ended up slamming my laptop shut. One of the most frustrating programs I've ever used! Two hours spent and I only got through five songs!

Do it for him? Well if you're offering, Slizz... I didn't mean that. ETA - I mean, I would, but doing my own video takes long enough and I don't really want to look up and download all those random songs I've never heard of. Sorry.
