This is the third single. I'm glad they canceled that other single, "Feelin' This Way" or something of that nature.

I hope it's a cover of Vitamin C!

I think this will flop. Stations are too hung over Don't Know Why, and Come Away With Me was a very minor hit but did basically nothing on Hot AC or AAA. I can't see a third single going far.

I'm surprised her album is still performing so well with only one hit single. I guess word-of-mouth and buzz? Because I certainly haven't been seeing or hearing her music anywhere.

Let's face it - if she had not won a Grammy, we would have never of heard from Norah again this entire year. She was riding on that Grammy success, and now that has faltered.

Grammy buzz does have a lot to do with her album's overall success, but there is obviously more to it. She got those awards back in February, it is now September, and her album only recently fell out of the top 20. Grammy buzz doesn't usually last 7 months after the artist won. I can't imagine a person going into a record store 7 months after watching the Grammy's, and going "let me get that Norah Jones album, she won record of the year!"
I may not care for Norah Jones, but I know a lot of people who do (my mother is one of them, she's tried to get me into her). I think her recent success is more related to word-of-mouth. Because it's certainly not the airplay charts or the Grammy's.

I agree with duh5. The Grammys obviously propelled her album sales to new heights and gave her more attention to the casual music buyers, but for the album to still be performing so well is due to word-of-mouth. Grammy effect doesn't last for 7 months.
Anyways, I love the album, and "Turn Me On" is a good song, but I much prefer "Feelin' The Same Way", "Shoot The Moon" and "The Long Day Is Over"

I haven't heard this yet, but I want to say that I thought "Come Away With Me" was much stonger than "Don't Know Why" times 10, and I'm kind of surprised its chart run didn't reflect that. Having said that, I don't know how much love radio will show for ANY Norah single at this point. The only way I see her getting another big radio hit is if she puts out a strong lead single from her next album.

Why did they cancel 'Feelin' The Same Way'? It's already on my chart? >:(

Big mistake.
"Feelin' The Same Way" is the most radio-friendly track off the album in my opinion. It has the highest tempo out of any track on "Come Away With Me"
And it is clear that when "Come Away With Me" is still in the Top 30 on the Billboard 200, it must be much more than the Grammy success that is propelling this album. It is now 8 times platinum for gosh sakes, well enough to keep her career going even if she never sells a million copies on any album from here on out. Did you see Steely Dan's "Two Against Nature" rocket to multi-platinum status after it won Best Album?
Sincerely, Noah Eaton
