For me, it's a good thing.

Actually on Friday night KQLL plays the first three op extras ("It's Raining Men"; "Come On Eileen"; "Billie Jean"; "Back On The Chain Gang" was used in the last hour). They also played the first three extras last Friday night and for the first hour of the '70s show they tend to play the first op extra from the corresponding '80s show.

Why the hell would "It's Raining Men" be used as an extra? It only hit #46 on the Hot 100.
Stupid Premiere...

Maybe because the song has become a cult classic since its release in 1983

This week's Flashback marks the third consecutive show where an artist had two songs back-to-back on the Hot 100. Two weeks ago it was Journey, last week it was Lionel Richie. However, when it came to AT40, Journey would have a LDD inbetween and Lionel would have a segment break inbetween. But the Stray Cats...no interruptions this time! Interesting that this happened with shows from consecutive years (albeit out of order).
- "Dirty Laundry" was butchered at #3 - the second verse, instrumental break, and lyrics immediately following the break were all cut out (it went right from the first chorus to the background repeated chorus before he starts singing again). Yet when it was played in the Top 3 recap at the beginning, it wasn't shortened a bit. Why do I find this absolutely criminal? >:(
- And go figure that WCRZ plays only the non-Top-40 flashback extra this week.
