Larry also noted "Too Much Heaven" had 27 different voices from all three Gibb brothers. - Additionally, Larry gave the wrong position for "Too Much Heaven" saying it would debut at #34 - #1 Soul: "I'm Every Woman" - Chaka Khan - #1 Country: "Sleeping Single In A Double Bed" - Barbara Mandrell - #1 Album: "Live And More" - Donna Summer

Okay. From now until Christmas time, I'll be needing only one post for the Classic AT40 previews. "AT40: The '70s" this week presents 11/13/1976 Three songs debuted this week: "Hello Old Friend" - Eric Clapton (#37) "Hot Line" - Sylvers (#39) "Livin' Thing" - Electric Light Orchestra (#40) Three songs fell off this week: "This One's For You" - Barry Manilow (#29) "Did You Boogie (With Your Baby)" - Flash Cadillac & The Continental Kids (#30) "Anything You Want" - John Valenti (#37) Biggest Mover: "Love Me" - Yvonne Elliman (#38 to #29) Biggest Dropper (tie): "Magic Man" - Heart (#9 to #20) "(Shake Shake Shake) Shake Your Booty" - K.C. & The Sunshine Band (#23 to #34) Original extras: "The Lonely Bull" - Herb Alpert This song will be played as one of the optional extras Premiere optional extras: Hour #1: "The Lonely Bull (El Toro Solitario)" - Herb Alpert (original AT40 extra) Hour #2: "Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word" - Elton John (#54; highest debut) Hour #3: "It Keeps You Runnin'" - The Doobie Brothers (#87; debuted) "AT40: The '80s" this week presents 11/9/1985 which has aired three times previously. Here is an edited repost. Three songs debuted this week: "Party All The Time" - Eddie Murphy (#35) "Running Up That Hill" - Kate Bush (#39) "Say You Say Me" - Lionel Richie (#40; Hot 100 Debut) Three songs fell out of the Top 40 this week: "Money For Nothing" - Dire Straits (#24) "Dancing In The Street" - Mick Jagger & David Bowie (#29) "Cherish" - Kool & The Gang (#38) Biggest Mover: "Broken Wings" - Mr. Mister (#20 to #11) Biggest Dropper: "I'm Goin' Down" - Bruce Springsteen (#19 to #32) Original extras: "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" - Gordon Lightfoot Long Distance Dedications: "Boy In The Box" - Corey Hart (#27 this week) "Faithfully" - Journey Premiere optional extras: Hour #1: "You're A Friend of Mine" - Jackson Browne & Clarence Clemons (#52) Hour #2: "Walk Of Life" - Dire Straits (#45) Hour #3: "Tarzan Boy" - Baltimora (#64) Hour #4: "Small Town" - John Cougar Mellencamp (#42) Of note: Since Larry Morgan became the announcer for the Classic AT40s 10 years ago, 11/9/1985 aired three times. The original Hour #2 extra was "Goodbye by Night Ranger (2013) and then it was replaced by Dead Or Alive's "You Soin Me Round (Like A Record)" to honor the memory of Pete Burns (2016) and now we have "Walk Of Life". Okay.

It wouldn't have broke my heart if they'd used the Edmund Fitzgerald as an extra since there's so many shows with it as an extra & it's on the charts in the 1976 show this week plus the 11/9/85 show is on the iHeart channel so it's been heard enough.

in 1988 the 80's were still stronger than ever. 'Naughty Girls (Need Love Too)" was such a jam, but "one More Try" was my #1 song that week. "Wait" would be my #1 the following week shutting out Samantha Fox..
