I agree 1979 should be the A show that way we could hear all 4 hours Thursday on WSQL & the 1970 show on KLFM Friday leaving the weekend to listen to which you want not having to worry about finding a station playing all 4 hours. But best bets for all 4 hours are WPAC, WPNC & KOKZ (which like to skip the last extra). KOKZ do tend to play their own extras with quite a bit Like in April there was a 1978 show where they played the first 2 extras but skipped the third which was newly added as a tribute to the recently passed Bill Withers. I see you're from Illinois so am I.

- Station of the Week: WPNC - Interesting as this is the first time we've heard "Heaven Must Have Sent You" on AT40 since Bonnie Pointer's passing (it was played as an optional extra the last time 1979 was heard), Casey tells a story about skatting (which she did here) and played a clip of Louis Armstrong skatting on "Blueberry Hill" - Ironically "Hold On" was an optional extra in both the '70s and the '80s this week (Santana's version for the 8/14/1982 "A" show), but when Larry Morgan listed the acts who charted with "Hold On" during the 1982 broadcast, Triumph was not mentioned. - The Casey Jinx: After playing "After The Love Has Gone", Casey said "it looks like a sure #1 song". As mentioned above, it peaked at #2. - But what Casey lacked in predicting chart futures, he made up by "correcting" me on an error during this week's preview. It was "After The Love Has Gone", NOT "The Devil Went Down To Georgia" as I wrote earlier. My bad. - #1 Country: "Coca Cola Cowboy" - Mel Tillis - #1 Disco: "Here Comes That Sound Again" - Soul Deluxe - #1 Album: Get The Knack - #1 Soul: Good Times

Have read on the AT40-F&G board that there are actually TWO bonus shows on the 70s side.
The other is the Top 40 Hits of the Disco Era from 7/07/1979, which last aired in 2015. And here's its extras...
"Never Can Say Goodbye" - Gloria Gaynor "Copacabana (At The Copa)" - Barry Manilow "Heart Of Glass" - Blondie "Love Hangover" - Diana Ross
