If it's treated as a B show KZOY plays it Saturday at 1PM Eastern although it starts 5-10 minutes late & if you just want to hear the Lennon extras don't bother as they don't play extras. The other is KABQ Sunday at 2PM Eastern & they do play extras. Other guesses might be WPNC Saturday at 10AM Eastern & replay at 12AM Eastern Tuesday with extras & while WTOJ is playing Christmas they are playing the regular shows on WATN Sunday at 9PM Eastern because they play 4 hour 70's shows & they air before it. WPNC also plays the 4 hour 70's shows right after the 80's shows & replay them Wednesday at 12AM Eastern. Forget about WPNC....They are playing the A show..... KZOY is best bet for show next in line.... KABQ for the complete B show

Another possibility is WHNR "Boss Hogg Radio" Saturday at 4PM Eastern. Since they have the slogan "No Rap & No Crap" they might play it since Run-DMC is in the 86 show.

If that fails there's WXXM Rewind 92 tonight at 9PM Eastern but I think they're playing all Christmas. I got both versions of the show but I want to hear the 4 all John Lennon extras.

I usually rely on them to play complete four hour 1978-79 AT40s, and they did the first half of the 1974 show yesterday. (Note to all: AT40 from 1974-77 split their year end shows over two weekends each with a four hour presentation, while their regular shows were still three hours.)

WTOJ is also playing both parts of 1974 next Sunday from 8 or 9AM Eastern & (I think) replay it after. This week they played all of 1984 twice Saturday at 11AM Eastern & The Top 80 Of 1971 twice Sunday at 9AM Eastern

Alright, for the first regular Classic AT40 countdowns of 2021, there are TWO '70s shows and TWO '80s shows so I will be making a two-part post for the weekend preview. Usually in most cases I start with the '70s first, then '80s but since I teased a '70s surprise last week, I will start with the two '80s shows first then the '70s. The "A" show this week is from 1/19/1980 which has aired three times. Here is an edited repost from 2010: Seven songs made their debuts this week: "Daydream Believer" - Anne Murray (#28) "Why Me" - Styx (#32) "Longer" - Dan Fogelberg (#35) "You Know That I Love You" - Santana (#36) "Voices" - Cheap Trick (#37) "September Morn'" - Neil Diamond (#39) "Do You Love What You Feel" - Rufus and Chaka (Khan) (#40) Seven songs fell off this week: "You're Only Lonely" - J.D. Souther (#23) "I Want You Tonight" - deleted Cruise (#25) "Chiquitita" - Abba (#29) "Take The Long Way Home" - Supertramp (#35) "Rapper's Delight" - Sugarhill Gang (#36) "I'd Rather Leave While I'm In Love" - Rita Coolidge (#38) "Train, Train" - Blackfoot (#39) Biggest Mover: "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" - Queen (#30 to #18) Biggest Dropper: "Still" - The Commodores (#6 to #22) Original extras: "I Can't Help Myself" - The Four Tops Long Distance Dedications: "Makin' It" - David Naughton "Short People" - Randy Newman Archive extras: "Car Wash" - Rose Royce "Torn Between Two Lovers" - Mary MacGregor "Blinded By The Light" - Manfred Mann's Earth Band Premiere optional extras: Hour #1: "Another Brick In The Wall" - Pink Floyd (#77; debuted) Hour #2: "99" - Toto (#55) Hour #3: "Working My Way Back To You/Forgive Me Girl" - The Spinners (#48) Hour #4: "Heartbreaker" - Pat Benatar (#54) The "B" show for this week is from 1/19/1985 which has aired multiple times. Here is my repost from 2013. Three songs debut this week: "Sugar Walls" - Sheena Easton (#36) "The Heat Is On" - Glenn Frey (#37) "The Old Man Down The Road" - John Fogerty (#40) Three songs fell out of the Top 40 this week: "I Can't Hold Back" - Survivor (#28) "All Through The Night" - Cyndi Lauper (#33) "Hello Again" - The Cars (#35) Biggest Mover: "Careless Whisper" - Wham! featuring George Michael (#20 to #10) Biggest Dropper: "No More Lonely Nights" - Paul McCartney (#23 to #35) Original extras: None Long Distance Dedications: "Leader Of The Band" - Dan Fogelberg "Theme From 'Mahogany' (Do You Know Where You're Going To)" - Diana Ross Premiere optional extras: Hour #1: "Missing You" - Diana Ross (#50) Hour #2: "Tenderness" - General Public (#41) Hour #3: "Lover Girl" - Teena Marie (#54) Hour #4: "Naughty Naughty" - John Parr (#53) I'll preview this weekend's '70s shows coming up.

Now to conclude the weekend preview with this week's two '70s shows. The "A" show for this week is from 1/4/1975! That's right, 1975 is an "A" show for the first time in the eight-and-a-half years AT40 has had "A/B" designations for both '70s and '80s shows. Up to now, the only featured years that required alternate shows were 1970, 1971, 1972 and four-hour 1978 and 1979. Now it looks like 1973, 1974 and 1975 now need alternate shows with probably 1976, 1977 and three-hour 1978 still being singletons. FYI, next week will feature 1976 and I can confirm that it is a singleton show so any singleton preview posts I make will definitely be rare in 2021. Stay tuned for further developments from Premiere. Anyway, 1/4/1975 aired only once and that was in 2010. Here is an edited repost: Here are this weekend's classic AT40 shows (first of the new year and the new decade): AT40: The '70s features 1/4/1975 Four songs debuted that week: "I Belong To You" - Love Unlimited (#34) "Free Bird" - Lynrd Skynrd (#35) "You're No Good" - Linda Ronstadt (#37) "Struttin'" - Billy Preston (#40) Four songs fell off that week: "Ain't Too Proud To Beg" - The Rolling Stones (#31) "Woman To Woman" - Shirley Brown (#33) "Wishing You Were Here" - Chicago (#34) "Fairytale" - The Pointer Sisters (#36) Biggest mover (three-way tie): "Get Dancin'" - Disco Tex & The Sex-O-Lettes (#36 to #28) "From His Woman To You" - Barbara Mason (#38 to #30) "Best Of My Love" - The Eagles (#40 to #32) Biggest Dropper: "Do It ('Til You're Satisfied)" - B.T. Express (#22 to #36) Original extras: None Premiere optional extras (this week's rankings in parentheses): Hour #1: "Lady Marmalade" - LaBelle (#98; debuted) Hour #2: "Lonely People" - America (#66) Hour #3: "Black Water" - The Doobie Brothers (#46) The "B" show this week is from 1/14/1978 which already aired twice. Here is my repost from 2018: Two songs debuted and one song re-enters this week: "Long, Long Way From Home" - Foreigner (#37) "As" - Stevie Wonder (#38; re-entry) "Too Hot Ta Trot" - Commodores (#40) Three songs fell off this week: "Isn't It Time" - The Babys (#32) "We're All Alone" - Rita Coolidge (#35) "Swingtown" - Steve Miller Band (#36) Biggest Mover: "Stayin' Alive" - The Bee Gees (#28 to #17) Biggest Dropper: "It's So Easy" - Linda Ronstadt (#15 to #30) Original extras: "Midnight Blue" - Melissa Manchester The song, originally an op extra in 2009, will actually be played during the show Premiere optional extras: Hour #1: "The Way You Do The Things You Do" - Rita Coolidge (#84; debuted) Hour #2: "Thunder Island" - Jay Ferguson (#54) Hour #3: "The Name Of The Game" - ABBA (#57)
