This weekend we have one '70s show and two '80s shows so once again the weekend preview will be a two-parter. We'll start with the '70s first. "AT40: The '70s" this week presents 2/12/1977. The '80s preview is coming up. "Honeycomb" was added to a "whatever happened to Jimmie Rodgers" feature that aired in the original show. That's right. So, it wasn't "random" at all. (Is it ever?  ) |

"Honeycomb" was added to a "whatever happened to Jimmie Rodgers" feature that aired in the original show. That's right. So, it wasn't "random" at all. (Is it ever? ) If it never aired on an AT40 show originally, I question the placements. I can't read Pete Battistini's book all the time. |

WWIS broke into a commercial during #32 and then skipped 31 & 30 then went into the extra. I hope Territory FM tonight is doing the 80s.
Territory FM is playin 1985, but it started on 6:30 EST and not 7:30 as the list showed.

This is my 3rd time listening to the 80s B show for 1984. Yesterday I listened on WQCY but they don't play the extras. I got up at 4:45 EDT, which was 3:45 EST, for WFMX which plays the extras, but they started early and I didn't get it started until #36 and then the signal dropped around #4. I was comparing the two and WQCY sounded really bad. It was ok by itself but after listening to WFMX, it sounded bad so I used the good parts of WFMX and the rest from WQCY. Now, I'm listening to WFRO and so far so good.
I don't know what is with certain stations have the signal drop and it buffers. No data is lost until it goes too long or I refresh.
WWIS does that often. WTOJ does that often.

I listen to WWIS and WTOJ all the time and they rarely drop. I listen to the streaming URL and not via their websites. WWIS I listen to the streaming URL as the website times out if I don't refresh.
When it drops it just buffers and doesn't lose data. Maybe it is my computer or some router between the station's server and me.
It's rare for WSQL to have problems. I'm listening to that now. What's good about it is the commercials are all 2 minutes or 1 at the extras and there is dead time between the show and the ads. WTOJ overlaps the end of the ads with the show.

Yesterday I listened to WQMV for the 70B and it kept dropping data throughout. Not just buffering.
No one else played the B show.
Now WVWP is playing it and so far so good.
