Now for this weekend's '80s shows. The "A" show this week is from 9/26/1981. Here is a prior repost: Premiere optional extras: The first hour extra was replaced with J.D. Souther & James Taylor's duet "Her Town Too" to honor Souther's passing. They replaced Hour #4:extra with Heartbreak Hotel - Tito Jackson and the Jacksons with the explanation of his death earlier this month.

Now to preview the two '80s shows. The "A" shows for this week is from 9/25/1982. Here is a prior repost: Of note: For this airing, Larry Morgan refreshed his introduction of "Mickey" to mention the song returned to the Hot 100 in 2023 when it was sampled for inclusion in the hit Speed Drive from the "Barbie" movie soundtrack. And I’m pretty sure they played the album version this time.
