Thanks for posting, Cartman! Unfortunately, neither of these shows air where I live, but it's still fun to read about them. :)

Cheryl Ladd had a top-40 hit??? Song was probably not that good since most likely nobody remembers it, but it does sound like something that might trigger an idea for an AT10 Spotlight.

You are absoultely correct since I heard it for the very first time last weekend and it sounded very bad it would have sounded better if the tune had a disco beat to it.
Also, got a trivia question for everyone here.
What TV series did Cheryl Ladd and Casey Kasem both did back in the 70's ?

How many people even knew that Cheryl Ladd was the singing voice for Melody in the series "Josie and the Pussycats"? The perception of her back then was that she was just a model on "Charlie's Angels" because she looked good & was willing to wear revealing clothing on national tv.

Speaking of Josie and the Pussycats, AT40 host Casey Kasem did the voice of Alex Cabot in the cartoon series.

^Not all radio stations (since I remember someone saying on the old R&R Boards that their station did indeed air the show). But Sunny 101.5 definitely didn't get this show. I figured they might re-run the previous week's 1983 show (which was also one week before the Dead Dog show in this series as well - go figure), but they just ran regular programming during that time. But that was the only time that Sunny didn't get the show, so that's cool.

Well, not for the four weeks I've been listening (according to the Program Director there, they have been running the show for several months. Not sure whether they picked up on it with the first show or not).
