Katy Perry replaces herself in the top 10 as "Wide Awake" moves 11-10 this week. WA is now Katy's only appearance in the top 30, a far cry from a month ago where she had 3 songs in the top 20. Wide Awake is Katy's 6th top 10 hit. "The One That Got Away" peaked at #5 back in June.
Pink makes a nice move climbing 21-16 this week with "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)," also getting the leap of the week. This is Pink's 6th top 20 hit. Her last top 20 hit was "Perfect" which peaked at #2 in September 2011.
Ellie Goulding also makes a leap into the top 20 this week, moving 22-18. "Lights" is Ellie's debut appearance in the top 20.
Debuting at #29 this week is the reigning American Idol champion Phillip Phillips. While the song peaked at #10 and fizzled after the show, the song has gained resurgence thanks to its placement in conjunction with the 2012 Olympic Games, and also a special mix of the song being sent out to commemorate it. The song has since peaked at #9 on the Hot 100 and this week it debuts on the AC chart. This is Phillip's debut appearance. This also marks the 6th Idol coronation song to make the chart.
Closing the chart this week is the new hit from fun. "Some Nights" enters at #30 this week giving the band their 2nd AC hit. "We Are Young" is currently holding at #13 this week.
Katy Perry and Jessie J go recurrent this week resulting in new peaks for Katy Perry (WA), Jason Mraz, Demi Lovato, Kelly Clarkson (DS) and No Doubt.
