I understand that the article stated that she has not been assigned to an imprint yet, but I just looked on Amazon and found out that her recent song "Girls Call the Shots" RCA Nashville is listed as the label. I wonder if this is a default move for artists signed to them who are not yet assigned because back in February Ross Ellis released "Home To Me" with the same label listed.

musicrow.com/wp-content/CBOcharts/MRW-11-20-2020.pdfSony acquires River House Artists which they already have artists under them, but Sony looks like they will now represent Drew Parker and Jordan Rowe. Drew Parker is now on Country Aircheck Activator chart with "While You're Gone."

No. They will provide support for artists (like recording facilities) but it’s definitely a publishing not a whole company buyout.

I noticed that BBR Music removed Sykamore from the Wheelhouse imprint and put her under Music Knox Records. Does Music Knox Records intend to sign more artists or just stick with a few artists? P.S. Sykamore released "What Are You Doing New Year's Eve" under Music Knox d/b/a/ Wheelhouse. Does this mean she is technically with Wheelhouse?

Tiera seems to be the next one on Big Loud Records. She was originally signed to Big Loud Publishing. But her video on CMT called Shut It Down said Big Loud. CMT called her Listen Up artist for 2020. She is African American. She will be the first minority under Big Loud label.

Awesome, they have a great sound! Their covers are stout.

More than likely, UMG passed on working their music and Warner Music Nashville promised to send them to radio and give Temecula Road a full push. I could see this same route happening with Laine Hardy too. I noticed that BBR Music removed Sykamore from the Wheelhouse imprint and put her under Music Knox Records. For radio promo purposes, should Sykamore get that shot, she'll be on Wheelhouse.

We are seeing artists that are connected to major labels, but are not on any of the artists websites. I think they are artists under developement to see how they do.
Jordan Rowe at River House Artists Drew Parker Make Wake/River House Artists (publisher at RHA) Tiera Big Loud
Calesta Clark Valroy
CJ Solar Sea Gayle
Like anybody signs with Warner Chappell could be also artist developement as will.

CJ is also a writer at SeaGayle and has had multiple secondary hits. Drew is releasing radio stuff next year. The others not so much. And the only “major label” listed here is Valory.

Am I the only one who always gets the two Tenille's mixed up? It doesn't help that they are both newer artists and both from Canada.

I don't, but only because vocally they could not be more different, lol.

Yeah Tenille Arts and Tenille Townes are pretty easy for me to tell apart, mainly because Arts has a pop country voice, and Townes has a ton of twang in her voice.

In my opinion Arts has a pleasing voice. Townes has a voice that sounds a little off when she sings. It’s funny that the two Tenille’s got known around the same time.

I loved how they both also had 2 albums out in Canada already as well, and both use stage names for their last name. So many similarities!
