I didn't even know Show Dog still existed. They were actually able to get Clay Walker's newest single to the top 50 on Mediabase this spring, and are still pushing it. I did think they would give up on radio promotion after 2016, but I have been proven wrong lol.

Obviously take it with a huge grain of salt but I saw that Payton Smith's picture no longer on the Big Machine label website same thing goes for Ben Burgess with Big Loud so maybe they were let go of, but I don't know if either act for a fact is no longer there, as the label could have just forgot or they are working something out but I figured it was worth noting.

Old Dominion has moved to Arista Nashville from RCA Nashville (RCA was getting bloated, promo wise, it makes sense).
Zac Brown Band has signed with Warner Music Nashville, the the third time (but first officially Nashville-based) that they’ve been a part of The Warner Records group (first Atlantic, then after Varvatos/Republic with Elektra and, now, after one through BMG/BBR, they’re back in the fold. This time, Warner is promoting them). Home Grown remains their boutique label with WMN official partners (Like Kenny Chesney is with his Blue Chair label).

Old Dominion has moved to Arista Nashville from RCA Nashville (RCA was getting bloated, promo wise, it makes sense). They are the third artist in recent weeks behind Ryan Hurd and Seaforth. Surprisingly or not, Ross Ellis' latest single is being promoted by RCA Nashville, so does this mean he has been assigned to that imprint. Also, what are the plans for Sony's recent signings including Willie Jones, Hannah Dasher, Southerland, Drew Green, Tyler Booth, Georgia Webster, James Barker Band, Kat & Alex, Jaden Hamilton and Joey Hendricks. They have yet to be assigned to an imprint.

Another Texas artist with an already solid fan base gets a record deal in Nashville. Many of his songs use profanity but I’m sure that will be curbed back a bit now, and obviously won’t be in any radio single. Kolby’s music has a Randy Rogers Band sound with modern touches. “Excuses” is the first BBR/Wheelhouse release and I think it’s his best song.

Looks like LANco is indie now. New EP was self-released.

Not surprised LANco is done. After "What I See" looked like it might reignite their career for a minute there, but then crashed and burned quickly after, I knew that pretty much spelled the end for them.

In the latest edition of Country Aircheck (7/12,) the Jordan Davis Ad for "Buy Dirt" states Mercury Nashville, and in Ryan Hurd's Chasing After You" ad is RCA Nashville. Have they switched labels or is this a mistake?

Kinda wondering when Tiera is gunna sign a major label deal. There’s a lot of buzz around her especially as a black female country artist. She’s already got the publishing deal so I wonder if a label deal is in the works.
