Ok, I have removed Jewel. I am leaving Sunny Sweeney for now, though, until we find out for sure one way or the other, as to whether she's still with Republic. I'm hesitant to add Michael Ray from the TV show, since Atlantic isn't strictly country, and there's no details on whether he'd be releasing through Warner Music Nashville a la Hunter Hayes and Brett Eldredge.
Finally, I have added Austin Webb to Streamsound.

Jewel self-released her single that's on iTunes this week. I think you can 'safely' move her from Valory, if she was at that label, it'd be released through them. That seems a little strange because BMLG is still listing her on their website, but they removed her at one point and put her back on.

Yeah, I think Jewel is still with Valory, but she's obviously been quiet lately because of her pregnancy. She's probably going to return with something new to country radio next year, if I had to guess.

According to tonight's AirCheck weekly, with a Valory add, Raelynn is now on Valory instead of Republic.

According to tonight's AirCheck weekly, with a Valory add, Raelynn is now on Valory instead of Republic. I saw that too. It seems like it's just the 4 previously established stars, really, as they're focusing on Justin Moore, Brantley Gilbert, Thomas Rhett, and Reba in that ad, and saying Raelynn is coming soon. Jewel doesn't seem to be on the roster anymore, and I wonder if they're still gonna put out the full-length record for The Mavericks? Obviously I don't expect the band to stay with Valory (since they pretty much only signed for a 20th reunion album), but I have been hoping they'd stick to the plan and at least put out the 1 album. List Updated to Reflect Several Changes: - Capitol & EMI Nashville have been moved to under Universal. More re-structuring is expected, and the EMI imprint will likely be re-named, but with the merger approved and underway, Capitol/EMI has now been absorbed by UMG and therefore, the Capitol Nashville labels are now listed under UMG along with MCA and Mercury.
- Vince Gill was added back to the MCA Nashville roster, as he is set to record a final album for the label before they parts ways, according to The Boot. Vince explained that he was not dropped and that there was no 'rift' between himself and the label, just that it was his choice to move on after his 23-year contract expired. However, he will still release one final album for MCA.
- The Capitol Nashville roster has been updated to include the individual labels for Lady Antebellum (Lady A Entertainment) and Little Big Town (Little Big Town). Both bands, beginning with their most recent albums On This Winter's Night and Tornado, respectively, now license their music to Capitol in the same way that Keith Urban does via his Hit Red Records, or the way that Alan Jackson does with his Alan's Country Records.
- The Warner Music Nashville label has been updated, reflecting changes made to their website. Jason Jones has been removed, both Ashley Monroe and Johnny Gates & The Invite have been added to Warner Bros. proper, and Dean Alexander is new to the Elektra imprint.
- The Big Machine Label Group has moved RaeLynn from her original label, Republic, to sister label, Valory.
- The Curb Records roster has been updated to include a few new acts, including duo American Young and artist Mo Pitney. Ruth Collins was removed, as she is now a part of Sweetwater Rain. Also, Ashley Gearing, Tyler Dean, Morgan Frazier, and Dylan Scott have apparently all been moved over to the new Sidewalk imprint, according to this GAC article.
- Tenacity Records has been added to the list of labels. It includes flagship artist Darryl Worley, as well as Georgia native Bill Gentry and new duo Rosehill. As of this point, there is no link embedded in the label name, as it appears that Tenacity is still building its website.
- The "Other Artists" section at the bottom has been updated to include the Josh Abbott Band, on their own label PDT Records, in partnership with Atlantic Records. It looks like their deal right now is with Atlantic only and that they must've backed out of the agreement for Warner Music Nashville to push "I'll Sing About Mine" to radio. I wouldn't be surprised if the band gets an actual launch from WMN in 2013, though, but it looks like for now they're not moving forward on that front and the deal is only in place with Atlantic.

As Much as I don't like Curb records, I do like a lot of their artists, and I hope this restructuring will result in more hits for their roster. I'd love to see Ashley Gearing, Dylan Scott, Star De Azlan, Jo Dee Messina, Heidi Newfield, Clay Walker, LeAnn Rimes, Wynonna Judd, Steve Holy and Sweetwater Rain make some waves. There's others I like too but those are their best artists.
Also Sony Nashville has signed Angie Johnson to a record deal, no news as to which label she'll be placed on but my best guess would be Columbia. (Country Aircheck Today (10/30)

Yep, I was at the event. Red Bow. Joe's new music sounded incredible and Farley was most recently with Average Joes and is managed by her producer Michael Knox.

I have updated the list to include Red Bow Records and its 2 artists, Joe Nichols and Rachel Farley. BBR is sure looking like the most prominent indie label, other than Big Machine. Here's info on new Sony artist Angie Johnson, courtesy of AllAccess: Sony Music Nashville Signs YouTube Sensation Angie JohnsonSony Music Nashville has signed a recording contract with Missour Air National Guard Tech Sergeant Angie Johnson. Johnson became a YouTube sensation after a video of her performing Adele's "Rolling In The Deep" for the troops in Afghanistan went viral. The St. Louis, MO native spent six years in the Air Force, and after honorably discharged she joined the Air National Guard and moved to Nashville to pursue her dreams of becoming an artist. Love And Theft producer Josh Leo has signed on to be her producer. Watch the YouTube video here.

Is Jon Wolfe signed to Warner Bros.? He shows up on Music Row's chart with their label info listed next to him. Anybody know for sure?
Also Curb's American Young is Jon Stone and Kristy Osmundson who is part of Bomshel. Did Bomshel break up?

Sheryl Crow is officially gearing up to release her first country album. Warner Music Nashville tells MusicRow that the singer has signed to the label, but a release date for a new project has not been confirmed.

Signage: LoCash Cowboys have signed with Average Joes Entertainment. “LoCash Cowboys are the perfect fit for Average Joes, and everyone on our team is really excited to have them aboard,” says CEO Shannon Houchins. "We're extremely impressed with what they've already accomplished, and their style of music and dedication to their fan base perfectly aligns with Average Joes' philosophy."

Ok, I have removed Jo Dee Messina from the Curb roster. I also made a few other changes. Brent Anderson is no longer with Arista, and it looks like MCA has dropped Mallary Hope and that Due West is no longer with Black River. I have also added the new website for Sidewalk Records.

I don't think Mallary Hope is dropped, she tweeted a few weeks back that she just handed in some songs to, her words, "newish label". I think she got switched to either Capitol or EMI. I'd have to find the tweet again to confirm though.
Sad to see Brent get dropped without them trying a second single. Same thing happened recently to Bradley Gaskin, The Lunabells and Adam Brand. Sony has been really one and done lately for new artists. Except for Joanna Smith (Which I'm glad for). Hope Kristen Kelly and The Henningsens are able to get hits and stay with the labels for a bit.

I never thought I'd see the day. :o Wow, I'm just so surprised Curb actually let an artist go (though I guess she did suffer for 6 years with them), but I am so happy for JDM that she's free to go out and make music that will be appreciated and released properly. I can't wait to see what she's been unable to do in the past 6 years under Curb's restraints.

Mallary Hope hasn't been dropped. She's just not with an official label. It's not surprising to see other artists 'go' from labels, either. Sony's really been struggling to Breakout an unknown artist. Love and Theft can't be considered an unknown with a Top 10 and album under their belt (as a trio but still)...

Mallary Hope hasn't been dropped. She's just not with an official label. I put Mallary back under MCA a couple days ago (though I agree from her tweets, it seems likely that she might be under the Capitol or EMI imprint, like Mr. Stacey suggested) but what exactly do you mean here? She hasn't been dropped, but she's just not with an official label? ???

She could land anywhere from MCA to Mercury to Captiol to EMI (or whatever label name its changed to once they decide to not use EMI names anymore).

^Thanks. That's what I assumed, I was just trying to clear it up for myself, LOL. I hope you're right and that they change the EMI name. It's not that I dislike the name "EMI" or anything like that but it just makes sense to change it and I think Interscope would be cool, like you originally suggested a while back.

Well, that WOULD make sense but I think it'd be Virgin or Backroad (for an EMI Legacy) or a revival of Decca since Interscope could very well open their own UMG-offshoot in Nashville at any given moment (which would REALLY make sense too and likely see Scotty, Lauren and Miss Willie Brown get housed there along with future Country artists from The Voice and Idol.

I believe Emerson Drive is on an independent label in the USA now or at least have a label that is supposed to be promoted and releasing "She's My Kind of Crazy" to American radio stations soon.
