Okay, good because I can't find any of their music online so it will be nice to hear what they sound.

Okay, good because I can't find any of their music online so it will be nice to hear what they sound. Reading their backstory on their website, I'm very intrigued as to what they'll sound like. They are a group of 6 guys with 3 of them as the "lead vocalists" and two of these guys are from Europe - one from Scotland or Ireland I believe and then the other is from Gibraltar (the southern tip of Spain). Their website said something about a unique blend of country-pop so it'll be really interesting to see what influences contribute to their sound since all 6 have diverse backgrounds!

I wonder when we get our first female signing of 2019? Lots of female singers in Nashville and hope that at least a couple of the major labels are in talks with a couple of female singers.

He's on tour with Luke Combs, so this completely makes sense with him singing with River House and Columbia/Sony. Looks like he already has a pretty sizable fan base. He released a self-titled EP last January that has done pretty well in streaming.

According to Sony Nashville’s website, Ben Gallaher (Unassigned ) Levon and Old Crow Medicine Show have parted ways. Faith Hill has been assigned to Columbia Nashville.

Surprised that Ben parted ways without an official single (was "Good Guys Win" ever officially released?). OCMS is also surprising since they just signed recently. I'm super sad about Levon though. I loved their sound. "Ms. Marianne" was one of my favorites from last year.

OCMS announced they were going on hiatus. Maybe that has something to do with it.

OCMS announced they were going on hiatus. Maybe that has something to do with it. That had to. With them on hiatus and them not being name recognizable like a Sugarland or a Lady Antebellum didn't bode well. I was initially shocked for Levon, but didn't "Ms. Marianne" not even chart. Also zaclord 🌈 Ben Gallaher was never officially pushed to radio at all.

It was awful (as was Ben's voice and music) so I'm not sad at all, but I'm always surprised when artists get dropped without even a single try at radio.

In terms of mainstream radio, Old Crow Medicine Show isn’t a recognizable name but they are very well known in Nashville circles and have tons of respect from their peers.
I was looking forward to them on a major label’s roster.

I hope Levon can catch on with another label. They were absolutely fantastic when I saw them open for Alabama a couple summers ago.

Levon is great and I also hope they get another shot somewhere else. "Ms. Marianne" and "Wired" were both fantastic songs, and I love the lead singer's voice and looks. Total package.

musicrow.com/2019/01/tucker-beathard-signs-with-warner-music-nashville/Tucker Beathard Signs With Warner Music Nashville
Tucker Beathard has signed a major recording deal with Warner Music Nashville. Beathard inked the contract following the independent release of the first installment of his debut double album, Nobody’s Everything. The second chapter will be released in the coming months on Warner Music Nashville. “To quote Tucker’s song, when we first heard this music, it was clear that he had ‘somethin’ to say,’” said WMN SVP A&R Cris Lacy. “That’s the hallmark of a true artist. You couple that with the raw depth of his lyrics, some brilliant musicianship, and that old soul voice, and it was a no brainer. Tucker HAD to be part of the Warner Music family.” “It was really important to me during this album-making process, that I didn’t immediately rush into signing a record deal,” said Beathard. “With everything I’ve learned during this journey, I wanted to be sure whenever I add a new layer into the fold it’s the right fit and that it’s always about the music. The first time I met with the team at Warner, I knew they were the right ones to help get more of my music out into the world.” In November, MusicRow spoke with Beathard about the new project, the product of a years-long fight for creative freedom to make music he believed in. Beathard began work on the album following his split from former recording home Big Machine Label Group. Beathard also inked a new publishing deal with Little Louder Music back in August. “I think it definitely worked out and now I’ve learned a lot about myself as an artist and about the business…at the end of the day I want the best way to reach out to as many people as possible,” Beathard said.

I just noticed Gone West released a debut ep through Triple Tigers. Does anyone know if they have been signed by Triple Tigers?

I just noticed Gone West released a debut ep through Triple Tigers. Does anyone know if they have been signed by Triple Tigers? I hope so. I would love to hear more male/female duos and groups. They also have a unique sound. I did do some digging and the girl that isn't Colbie Caillat, was actually the blonde girl from The Janedear Girls (a female duo who had a minor hit in 2011). Nice to see her still making music and her voice naturally sounds better than it did in 2011. If they did get signed to Triple Tigers, that is a really good label, since the label has yet to have a single fail to hit the Top 10 ("Five More Minutes", "Yours", "This Is It", and "Blue Tacoma").

Gone West released a music video for their self-titled track today as well. Sounds like Gloriana's "Wild at Heart" to me, but even better. I'm hooked on first listen. I love this!

I just noticed Gone West released a debut ep through Triple Tigers. Does anyone know if they have been signed by Triple Tigers? If they’ve released the EP through there, it’s highly likely. This could be a slower, viral build for the folksy pop quartet. It also remains to be seen if they’ll be officially worked to country radio.

Other videos on YouTube have the Sony Music Entertainment Copyright, which is Triple Tigers Records partner. Btw, listen to the whole EP. I’m in love. Home is where the Heartbreak is might be my favorite, but i could see some radio success for these guys!

I imagine Triple Tigers will at least try with country radio when it comes to Gone West. The label has had solid success and with Gone West it would only be the third act on that label, and I imagine it wouldn't be too difficult to promote a third artist.

I'm loving the EP from Gone West and would love to see their self-titled song get sent to country radio. It gives me a strong Gloriana "Wild at Heart" vibe, but even better. Also considering they have the starpower of Colbie Caillat as a member, I'd be surprised if they weren't seriously pushed to radio and I think there's a good chance they could pick up some real traction given the lack of successful country groups right now with so many (almost all, honestly) of them falling off in recent years and/or having wildly inconsistent success (The Band Perry, Rascal Flatts, Eli Young Band, Lady Antebellum, Zac Brown Band, Little Big Town). There's definitely a lot of potential here imo.

It is either new music or a label signing. I personally hope for a label signing, as I do think she has some potential to be a star in the genre.

She is releasing a country mix of her single Awake on 31st of January, so it would make sense to be new music, but I would love to see her signed to a label and having some (more) success.

Maybe Big Machine signing? BIG is all caps, so maybe it’s a hidden message.
