This move reunites them with Gator Michaels (Reviver president). He was with Warner Bros. Nashville (Warner Music Nashville) when Kenny and John were there. Talked about this with rsmatto. Big & Rich still have plenty of resources to pay to Reviver to promote their singles and other expenses. Reviver could use a big name on their roster as well, especially one who is financially well off. I’m not sure they can get “Brand New Buzz” to the top 40 (doubtful at this point) but I think this helps both sides here. New Revolution has only practically partnered recently with Big & Rich, who helped finance New Revolution’s promotion budget for their singles, so who knows where that promotion service goes from here.

Does anyone have knowledge of Miranda Lambert moving to Arista Nashville? Can this be confirmed?

How is it possible that she is with both Arista and RCA at the same time, after all they are both Sony imprints.

No more Walker McGuire according to allaccess.com. They officially ended the duo last week. Will now focus on solo careers and songwriting.

They weren't getting anywhere with their singles, but the stuff I heard from them was pretty solid, especially "Lost," which was one of my favorite songs of the past year. I also enjoyed that one of the two was a KC native like myself, and I heard their music on the radio probably more than I would have otherwise because of that (since radio barely gave them any airplay, lol).

Thompson Square has signed a recording and publishing contract with Reviver Records. Music RowThat is great to hear.. Hopefully with radio being at least familiar with them, they can get a couple of charting singles in the future.

Thompson Square has signed a recording and publishing contract with Reviver Records. Music RowExcellent news! I've missed them greatly. Their indie release from last year was solid, but they deserve to be on the radio getting hits. Hopefully they can do that with Reviver.

With the recent signings of Big & Rich and Thompson Square, it looks like Reviver Records might have artists who are able to chart well. How does Reviver stack up against the other independent labels?

How does Reviver stack up against the other independent labels? They’re fighting to stay in the game. And it’s good they see acts with a track record as a way to go.

Should've seen that one coming given his close relationship with Jason.

Disappointed but not shocked. He has. decenr fan base and is really good friends with Jason Aldean. If Broken Bow can revive Chase Rice radio career I dread think that Tyler Farr's radio career could also be brought back.

It appears Jillian Jacquenline has been dropped from Big Loud. She is off their website. That's disappointing, I figured the label would stick by her a bit longer. Here's too MacKenzie Porter now!

It appears Jillian Jacquenline has been dropped from Big Loud. She is off their website. I’m not surprised. They tried with her digitally and given that Joey Moi didn’t produce her music, it’s even less surprising.

Does anyone have information about Trent Harmon? It has been a long time since we have heard from him. Is he still with Big Machine?

Another update to the first page. The changes: - Sugarland is no longer on the UMG/Mercury Nashville roster but remains on the Big Machine Records roster (Sugarland has been removed from the UMG website but the Big Machine website still has them on it; I suspect that their contract with UMG was up and they didn't renew at this time, due to them going on another hiatus).
- Brooks & Dunn have been added to the Arista Nashville roster.
- Tucker Beathard has been assigned to Warner Music Nashville's WAR imprint.
- Big Machine Label Group has signed Noah Schnacky and Vivian Hicks to its Big Machine Records imprint (Schnacky performed at CRS alongside other BMLG artists. Hicks is a Canadian teenager who signed a development deal with the label; it remains to be seen if she'll pursue a career in country or some other genre).
- Sheryl Crow has been assigned to Big Machine Label Group's Valory Music Company imprint. BMLG has also signed new artist Payton Smith to its BMLG Records imprint.
- Tyler Farr has been added to the Broken Bow Records roster and the Zac Brown Band has been added to the Wheelhouse Records roster. Farr is also under Jason Aldean's Night Train Records, while Zac Brown Band is under the Zac Brown Collective (formerly known as Southern Ground) in partnership with BMG and BBR Music Group.
- Jillian Jacquelline and Big Loud Records have parted ways (she's no longer listed on the artist roster at the Big Loud website).
- Reviver Entertainment Group has updated its website to reflect the additions of Big & Rich on Reviver Records and Aaron Goodvin and Thompson Square on REG's new imprint, Davmo Records. Furthermore, Blackjack Billy and Josh Gracin no longer seem to be with the label, and it seems that the Davmo imprint has replaced the 1608 imprint.
Also of note, Black River Entertainment's website is currently down; right now it links to a blank "Coming Soon page" that says "Please come back later." Black River hasn't updated its website in a LONG time, so I'm guessing that they're currently building a brand new website.

Apparently Jessie James Decker parted ways with Epic. Her next single will be an independent release (here we go again). I wonder what happened... Her last album went to number one on Billboard Country with barely any promo. I was hoping she could get something on the radio this year, but now it's not happening. She has a big fan base, she always sells well and she has decent streaming numbers. I don't get how she can't get a record label to push her.
She's still appearing on Epic's website tho.
