Huh I couldn't remember where I heard his name but he was on American Idol, only made it to the Hollywood rounds.

Random question - maybe sabre14 has some insight? Is Kelleigh Bannen close to resigning somewhere? Or has she? She is on the Today Show tomorrow performing which seems like a pretty plum gig for an independent artist which had me wondering. As far as I know, she isn't. She's probably done with the major label game. She's a big name in Nashville because of her podcast show and insight on the industry. I'm sure she has financial backing, too.

Makes all the sense in the world and something I expected when they announced the label. Doubt she, like Canaan, gets much of a terrestrial radio push but she will get SXM and streaming!

Would love for her to get back on terrestrial radio, but it's better than nothing. Glad she's still finding avenues to make music and have a career because she's too talented to fade away. RaeLynn has made herself a strong following so I'm sure she'll be fine even if she doesn't get another mainstream hit. Also, "Bra Off" is incredible. What a catchy bop!

Thank you for the reminder to listen to it. I'll be honest, I've only ever heard God Made Girls and need to get back on her music. I'll be listening to that, and Kelsea's new one, and the new Luke album...next week is Lady A, week after is Jason...and last week was Miranda. What a month so far!

AWAL is a partnership with this label deal with Round Here Records for RaeLynn. They're the recording division of Kobalt, which handles album distributions, A&R and that sort of thing. According to All Access, they'll also handle radio promotion for RaeLynn. My guess is her singles won't do much but at least she gets to keep releasing music and have the resources to do so. Her new single will be "Bra Off."

Another big update to the first post, to reflect the following changes: - UMG Nashville artists Hootie & the Blowfish and Parker McCollum have been officially assigned to the Capitol Nashville and MCA Nashville labels, respectively. Chrissy Metz has also been added to the UMG Nashville roster.
- Sony Music Nashville's The Sisterhood Band has been officially assigned to the Arista Nashville label.
- Hunter Hayes has parted ways with Atlantic Records and Warner Music Nashville (he's no longer on either label's website).
- Warner Music Nashville has parted ways with The Wild Feathers.
- Elektra Records has been added to the list of labels; the label was relaunched in October 2018 and detached from the Atlantic Records umbrella and is now once again an independent frontline label under parent company the Warner Music Group. It's based out of New York City and not associated with Warner Music Nashville, but it does have six country (or alternative country, etc.) artists on its roster, including A Thousand Horses, Anderson East, Brandi Carlile, Shooter Jennings, Sturgill Simpson, and The Highwomen.
- Adam Craig has parted ways with BBR Music Group/Stoney Creek Records.
- Curb Records has parted ways with both Jerrod Niemann and Love and Theft (neither artist is pictured on the label's website anymore).
- Big Loud Records has added Larry Fleet to its roster.
- Black River Records has added Josiah Siska to its roster.
- Reviver Records has added Brooke Moriber to its roster.
- Riser House Records has added Karl Michael and Logan Murrell to its roster.
- Round Here Records has been added to the list of labels, with a roster including Canaan Smith, Dylan Schneider, and RaeLynn.

Oh wow didn’t expect Jerrod or Love and Theft to leave Curb. Especially in L&T’s case, I expected at least an album to come out.

Do you have confirmation that Robert Counts is with Arista and Kylie Morgan is with EMI. They are not listed under the respective label pages.

I'm surprised too because Curb has historically liked to hold its artists in purgatory for years, and that was often with acts that had no clout and nothing but a string of flops to their name, but here they are quickly cutting loose two acts that actually had a little bit of built-in name recognition when they came in the door. Nothing ever makes sense with that label.

Kylie released an iTunes single in July of this year (Boys Girl) which confirms she's on EMI ( click here). As for Robert Counts, his Twitter account confirms that he's under the Arista imprint.

Not surprised about Hunter Hayes, he really lost his momentum with radio after “Invisible.”

Nothing ever makes sense with that label. Jerrod and Love and Theft’s deals weren’t like a new artist deal (which has been the deals were problems arise and they stick with acts for so long), so there was likely an opt out in both. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was mutual.

I missed part of the interview that was on my local talk station with her this morning but she did say she's started recording.
