Zac Brown Band's The Foundation crosses the 3 million scanned mark this week.
Kelly Clarkson's Stronger was certified 1xp last week when her sales were ~928k.
Black Key's El Camino should be certified Platinum then.

www.billboard.biz/bbbiz/industry/retail/chart-moves-glee-s-britney-2-0-tribute-debuts-1007963812.storyChart Moves: 'Glee's' Britney 2.0 Tribute Debuts on Billboard 200, Madonna's 'MDNA' Rises September 28, 2012 | By Keith Caulfield ( keith_caulfield), Los Angeles P!nk triumphed this week with her first No. 1 album on the chart as "The Truth About Love" debuted in the top slot with 280,000 sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan. It was one of five new entries in the top 10, where we also saw bows from the "Cruel Summer" compilation, the Killers' latest and Carly Rae Jepsen's "Kiss." Let's take a look at some of the other movers and shakers on the Billboard 200 and elsewhere on our album charts: "Glee": The first digital-only "Glee" album -- "Britney 2.0" -- arrives with 11,000 at No. 43. The set, devoted to the show's second all-Britney Spears episode, is the "Glee" cast's 15th overall entry on the chart -- but its first to miss the top 20. Nelly Furtado: At No. 79, the singer makes a low-key debut (6,000) with her fourth English-language studio album "The Spirit Indestructible." Originally due in June, it is her first English set since 2006's "Loose" launched at No. 1 with 219,000. Kreayshawn: The much buzzed-about artist, who reached No. 34 on the Social 50 over a year ago (Aug. 20, 2011), finally arrives with her debut album (4,000) "Somethin' 'Bout Kreay." It also enters Heatseekers Albums at No. 2. The physical version of the album was exclusive to Hot Topic retailers, while it was digitally available everywhere. Madonna: Her "MDNA" album continues to climb on the Billboard 200 after it reentered the tally a week ago, owed to sales generated by the buzz of her MDNA Tour reaching the U.S. This week "MDNA" rises 140-94 with 5,000 sold. The bulk of those sales came from CDs sold via either Internet retailers like Amazon.com, through mail order or at the venues where her MDNA concerts were held. Most of those sales seem to be sparked by her tour stops along the east coast, in cities like Boston, New York and Atlantic City. For example, while "MDNA" is the No. 94 selling album overall on the Billboard 200 (reflecting across the entire U.S.), it was actually the No. 21-selling set in Boston and the No. 29-seller in New York City. Paul Simon: At No. 95, Paul Simon debuts his first live album -- "Live in New York City" -- since 1991, selling 5,000 in its first week. Meanwhile, Simon & Garfunkel's "Greatest Hits" nets a 160% sales gain, thanks to sale pricing at Amazon MP3. It reenters the list at No. 152 with 3,000 sold.

Rather than bring up an old thread- when we talk about factors resulting in sales losses- i.e. illegal downloading, cherrypicking on iTunes, etc.- I just came across an old Billboard article online, with the title: "Home Tape Sales Loss Documented." :) I had posted that that probably was an issue back in the day, much like these newer factors. I myself used to record songs off the radio, onto cassette tapes, or songs from an album or cassette onto a cassette.
The article said that potential losses of record and tape sales to home taping ranged from 14 to 29% of total industry volume.
OK- back on track. :)
Back in the day, I had seen charts that had regional sales info (though not by state)- though there may have been one or two instances that some state charts leaked, or info like that was reported.
