Out of the three Glenn Frey songs I have, I'd rank them-
1. You Belong To The City (another amazing saxophone solo) 2. The One You Love 3. The Heat Is On
All good, though. He produced some good stuff in his solo career.

Never heard of it until I heard it on an old 1982 episode of "American Top 40" w/Casey Kasem. The best part of this song is the sax.

40 years ago, The One You Love debuted at #94 on the August 21, 1982 Billboard Hot 100.
I don't remember MTV playing the video.
