Second Hot AC single from Music From Another Dimension. Found it on a promotional disc for songs going to HAC radio this month. EDIT: fixed title. More on the blog.

Goes for adds on January 21 (though AllAccess lists the title as just "Lovin' You" for whatever reason).

Blah. Never really liked this song, but it'll be nice to hear Carrie on a different radio format.

Almost the entire album is gravely disappointing.
It certainly sounds like a blast from the past. But just because it harnesses the sound of their rock-and-roll heyday doesn't make the effort any better on its own merit, since the songwriting is terribly uninspired.
Aerosmith, Van Halen, Guns N Roses, Bon Jovi..........countless veteran rock bands have left us with woefully mediocre work within the past decade. Hell, Bon Jovi have produced nothing worthwhile since "Crush", while all the other names listed have only recently snapped painfully long hiatuses from releasing new material.
It isn't any wonder, then, why rock and roll has fallen off not just the Mainstream Top 40 radar, but Adult Top 40 as well. All of the once-tried-and-true titans of the format have regressed terribly over time.

I'm not a fan of this at all, and I LOVE when Carrie sings rock. I was pretty disappointed by this as a whole.
