So which do you think will stay on the Hot 100 the longest, Somebody I Used To Know, Call Me Maybe, or Lights? SIUTK is the lowest, but also is experiencing a huge resurgence due to year end plays.
I imagine all three will last at least a couple more weeks because of this.

I never understood this either, Eyes Wide Open is a great song but you're right, it's like CHR didn't even want to play STIUTK to begin with and there was no way in hell they were going to support a second single that didn't even have any buzz on rock format. I think Carly Rae also got the short end of the stick with This Kiss. The seemed like a perfectly formidable follow up to a huge hit yet CHR passed on it like they want to ensure she remains a one hit wonder. But yet they'll play the zillionth single by an established act... |
