ok a few years ago i was into country much more then i am now (meaning i sparcely enjoy a country track here and there) and one of my favorite country bands was Blackhawk... my question is, are these guys even popular enough to get a hit anymore? I really liked "Almost A Memory Now", "I'm Not Strong Enough To Say No", "Big Guitar" and "Hook Line & Sinker" (which i believe was from the album called "Blackhawk II")
EDIT: check that, the album was called "Strong Enough"

Not really. They haven't had a decent sized hit since 1998. One of the original members, Van Stephenson, died several years ago from Melanoma and has been recently replaced I believe.
They did hit the Top 40 with "Days Of America" last year.
Here's their Billboard chart history for you:
1993 #11 Goodbye Says It All 1994 #02 Every Once In A While 1994 #09 I Sure Can Smell The Rain 1994 #10 Down In Flames 1995 #07 That's Just About Right 1995 #02 I'm Not Strong Enough To Say No 1995 #03 Like There Ain't No Yesterday 1996 #11 Almost A Memory Now 1996 #17 Big Guitar 1996 #49 King Of The World 1997 #31 Hole In My Heart 1997 #37 Postmarked Birmingham 1997 #75 We Three Kings (Star Of Wonder) 1998 #04 There You Have It 1999 #27 Your Own Little Corner Of My Heart 2000 #40 I Need You All The Time 2001 #37 Days Of America

Those are my favorite Blackhawk songs. They were around the same time as another band I liked, Little Texas.
