#40. "I'll Go Crazy" Album: The Other Side I LOVE the mood/vibe in this song. Eva and Chuck's voices blend so well and do this song so much justice. Eva's backing vocals/harmonies and forefront vocals give me so much life in this song.

#39. "At Last" Album: Time After Time I really love Eva's rendition of this song. It's simple, clean, pleasant to the ear and she pours her heart into it. I would have to say this is most probably my favourite rendition of this song.

#38. "I Can Only Be Me" Album: Imagine A song written by Stevie Wonder, for the School Daze soundtrack, it is a BEAUTIFUL song. As what one would expect with Stevie involved. I really love the song itself and you can see Stevie performing this song live here. But back to Eva, her voice suits this song down to a t. The dark tone, the emotion behind her voice, the harmonies. Everything works wonderfully!

#37. "On The Inside" Album: No Boundaries I absolutely love her vocal delivery on this song. It's interesting and different to the majority of her material. The stripped back nature, her harmonies and the way she delivers her emotion on this song is amazing!

#32. "Drowning In The Sea Of Love" Album: Americane Tune A cover of the Joe Simon hit from 1970, I really love the song and production. Eva's voice fits this song great and is a bit different from a lot of her catalogue.

#29. "Take Me To The River" Album: Eva Cassidy: Live At Blues Alley A cover of the Al Green song, Eva does this song justice! Really like her performance. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be on youtube, so buy the album or the song from the album, you won't be disappointed!

#28. "Storm Monday" Album: Eva Cassidy: Live At Blues Alley "Stormy Monday" also known as "Call It Stormy Monday (But Tuesday Is Just as Bad)" is a blues song from the 1940s. Eva's rendition of this song is very raw and I love it.

#27. "Cheek To Cheek" Album: Eva Cassidy: Live At Blues Alley A cover of the classic song "Cheek To Cheek", which has been covered by numerous people, Eva really delivers. I love hearing Eva's voice to the tempo of the song and the way she is able to make the song her own. Her vocals are great as always!

Yay, glad this is being updated again! Maybe I this will motivate me to salvage my other list or maybe not idk!
Her version of "Take Me To The River" is really amazing. I've always keen on the Talking Heads version of it and also Al Green's of course, but Eva's is right up the the caliber of those two without a doubt.
"Cheek to Cheek" and "Wade In The Water" are also great as well. Integrity to the originals of both songs (though they are worlds apart), but still her vocals rise to the occasion respectively.
"Yesterday" is gorgeous, but then again this shouldn't be a surprising sentiment. In general it's a beautiful song and her voice just makes it all the more so. The emotion she conveys with it is just effortless it seems like an makes me want to weep like a baby to be honest.

#25. "Easy Street Dream" Album: Time After Time An original song, I love Eva's voice on this song. The song itself is rather great and a bit different. I just love her vocalisation and the grit/roughness she adds to her voice at times, while also being able to contrast it to a softer sound with head voice.

#24. "How Will It End" Album: Method Actor From a progressive rock album she was working on in the 80s, unlike a lot of her material, I love that it sounds much different to her later material and the vocals she showcases on this song (as always!).

#22. "Fever" Album: Imagine/The Other Side A classic song that has been covered numerous times by many great singers, I really enjoy Eva's version. She yet again just shows how talented she is, by making the song her own and owning it. My favourite rendition of this song. She has also done this song as a duet with Chuck Brown on their collaboration album The Other Side. Listen here if interested in that version.

#21. "How can I keep from singing?" Album: Eva By Heart A cover of the well known Christian hymn, Eva's version is very gospel-like and she brings the roof down with this song. I'm not religious but Eva could take me to church anytime!

#17. "Fields Of Gold" Album: Songbird/Eva Cassidy: Live At Blues Alley A cover of the Sting song form the early 90s, Eva's rendition is arguably more known than the original is. Eva's voice and simple approach to this song work well together and create something very beautiful.

#16. "Time Is A Healer" Album: Songbird An original song, I really love the sombre mood at the start and the way it builds up. Eva's vocals are really great, plus the harmonies of the backing singers and Eva herself further enhance the song.

#15. "True Colors" Album: American Tune/Simply Eva A cover of the Cyndi Lauper song, Eva's version is better than the original for me. The emotion, her rich tone and vocals really complement this song.
