per countrynow.com
Brooks & Dunn will roll out their next single, "That's What She Gets for Loving Me," via a performance on Monday's episode of the NBC drama Las Vegas. The night before, on Sunday, the pair will offer up "You Can't Take the Honky Tonk Out of the Girl" on the People's Choice Awards. Both programs begin at 9 p.m. ET.
Hmmm...I definately would not have chosen this as the next single. In my opinion, with "Stars & Stripes" they missed one of the best singles: "When She's Gone, She's Gone."
Why haven't they released any singles with Kix on lead? I think his songs are the best ones. On Red Dirt Road he has "Till My Dyin Day" which is great! Why won't RCA release one of his songs? They haven't in years.

I think that South Of Santa Fe hurt Kix's shot at a single for a while. Although the song was released primarily for the video it was probably their worst performing single in their careers. I loved More Than a Margerita (forgot which cd it was on) but it is by fay my favorite single from Brooks and Dunn that wsn't released. He definitly has a different voice but if they wait much longer people might forget he does more than run around on stage and sing harmony.

I'm surprised at this choice, too. It wasn't what I would've picked, but it'll probably be a big hit for them.

As a Brooks & Dunn fan I love this song. They have been doing it live for some time now. And it's awesome live. Kix playes a killer harmonica on it...As for Kix singles not getting released. His singles dont do well on radio. I dont know why. But I have had local DJ's say they wont play a single he sings on....I think they will how ever release one of his from Red Dirt Road ..When We Were King's or perhaps Memory Town .. Kix's strength is in his song writing.. And what he does on a cd doesn't carry over live..But I love them both,,

I love the song and I think that they were great on Las Vegas. I don't normally watch the show, but I tuned in to see B&D. I'm sure this will be another B&D classic!
