In Case is so beautiful. :'( Two Pieces and Nightingale are also amazing. The ballads are slaying, as usual.

I'm having a hard time listening to the last three tracks but based on the first 10 I am LOVING this album. This is EXACTLY what I like - pure pop. I knew this was going to be a good album since I've really grown to like her in recent years but this totally exceeded my expectations. "Two Pieces" is my favorite track and NEEDS to be a fall/winter smash, but here are some of my other favorites:
1. Heart Attack 4. Neon Lights 6. Nightingale 7. In Case 8. Really Don’t Care Featuring Cher Lloyd

I didn't expect it to sound THIS pop. I thought she wanted some R&B in there...
My Love Is Like a Star vibes suit her the best imo.
I do really like Neon Lights, In Case, Fire Starter, Shouldn't Come Back and Warrior.

Gonna do a review now. Heart Attack - Wasn't sure of this at first but eventually it grew on me, a lot! Definitely one of her best singles. 10/10 Made in the USA - Fun, upbeat, catchy, and summery. So I love it! Glad this is the second single. The right choice for sure. 10/10 Without the Love - Only listened to this once. Listened to every other song at least 2 times. My least favorite track on the album, just boring. 3/10 Neon Lights - HOT! Love that Demi at least did one dance track. A strong vocalist always sounds great over a dance beat. Great, but Ryan Tedder could of went a bit farther with it (See: Glassheart) 9/10 Two Pieces - The chorus is amazing. Love the contrast between the verses and the chorus. 10/10 Nightingale - Probably my favorite song lyrically from the album. Demi's stripped back tracks are always flawless. 10/10 In Case - My favorite! Simply perfection. :'( 10/10 Really Don't Care - The production really does remind me of One Direction. Cher's addition was actually nice. Definitely catchy but a bit too campy for me. 8/10 Fire Starter - Not horrible, but forgettable. 6/10 Something That We're Not - So fun, catchy, but more mature than RDC. Single please?!? 10/10 Never Been Hurt - Liked the darker sound it had at the beginning of the track. Should of kept the whole track that way. Her vocals are strong here but the effect they did on the "hurts" in the chorus are annoying. 6.5/10 Shouldn't Come Back - One of the most personal to Demi I'm sure, along with Warrior. Hearing the emotion in her voice is always beautiful. I can't say it's one of my favorite ballads though, but still good. 8/10 Warrior - Perfect album closer. Glad to see Demi has gotten through all of the tough times she has been through. Gives me Xtina vibes. 9.5/10 Overall, I think it's definitely better than Unbroken. Unbroken had a lot of great songs but I think this is a better overall piece of work. I quite enjoyed it.

Just finished listening, and this album is great and much, much better than the step back that Unbroken was for her quality-wise. I think the ballads aren't as strong as the uptempos and midtempos, but they still don't drag down the album. My favorites are definitely "Neon Lights," "Something That We're Not" and "Fire Starter." Album rankings for me: 1. Here We Go Again2. Demi3. Unbroken4. Don't ForgetMade in the USA - Fun, upbeat, catchy, and summery. So I love it! Glad this is the second single. The right choice for sure. 10/10 Wait, is "Made in the USA" really the second single? It's a fun song but not at all the right choice given the other options here. "Neon Lights" is and should be the obvious choice.

I agree with your ranking, Gray.. DEMI >= Here We Go Again > Unbroken >>>>> Don't Forget I think MITUSA is a good single choice. It's kinda safe, but "Neon Lights" would also be kinda safe. I swear to GOD, if she only gets two single with this album, I am burning down Hollywood Records. There's plenty of potential hits. This album has potential to be her breakout album.

Made in the USA Nice, but nothing special or not on first listen anyway. The more I listen to this one, the more I like it. It's grower. Could make a good single, but not after "Heart Attack." Too similar to each other, IMO. Without the Love I love this! The panio-driven beat is amazing! Neon Lights OMFG!!!! Reminds me of "Perfect Nightmare" by Shontelle! This is FIRE. Smash in the making. I especially love her vocals in the second verse. Two Pieces What kind of Dia Frampton sound-alike? DAT CHORUS! :o Nightingale The beginning IMMEDIATELY gave me "The Climb" vibes. Love the piano in the chorus. Beautiful lyrics. Absolutely love the production. It kind of reminds me of "Home Sweet Home," to be honest. In Case Those vocals. #slayed I love the lyrics. Future piano ballad hit? Really Don't Care S. M. A. S. H. The production on this is slick and amazing. Like, wow! Seriously, #1 pop hit right here! Cher also sounds... right. Like she really is meant to be there. Fire Starter Not bad. Not exactly what I was expecting or hoping for, but it's still good. It gets much better at the second verse. The production in the pre-chorus kind of annoys me. The instrumental kind of feels like it's... off. Something That We're Not THAT CHORUS! Forget what I said about the other songs, THIS is the smash of the album! Holy freaking crap! That hook is just... pure bliss! Never Been Hurt Love the bulid-up! I expected this to be ballad given that title. VERY good production. This is really good. AHHH!!!! "I Knew You Were Trouble." teas in the post-chorus!!!!!! Shouldn't Come Back Ooh! Her lower register. Don't hear that very often. It's not bad at all, but I see it as being my least played track on the album. The range on this song is outstanding. Those falsettos! Warrior Wow. That's just all I can say with this one. You can just feel that Adele-like emotion just dripping all over this song. It reminds me of "Skyscraper" in a lot of ways, though this is definitely more of a piano-ballad than that one was. Less of an obvious choice as a single too. It's very beautiful. Love it. Possible Single Choices (IMO): Made in the USA Neon Lights Really Don't Care Something That We're Not (This not being released would be a travesty.) Never Been Hurt Possibly "Nightingale" or "In Case" if they want a ballad.

Oh yeah, her vocals are SPECTACULAR. Her vocal growth is phenomenal. Unlike many other singers, she's taken care of her voice and has grown vocally with each album. I can't wait to hear some of these songs live.

Made in the USA is such a grower. The more I listen, the more I adore it. That said, I don't think Neon Lights should be the third single, it should be "Really Don't Care."

IMO, this is hands down her best album...so good! Favorites are: -Made In The USA -Nightingale -Two Pieces -Never Been Hurt -Really Don't Care -Shouldn't Come Back
I think her voice sounds better on this album than her previous ones as well, it's matured a lot. I've noticed that she really challenges herself vocally, not many songs on this album are easy to sing....songs like Made In The USA sound especially hard.
I wish Cher's part on Really Don't Care was longer, but I still love it!

Entertainment Weekly gives the album an C+: This review is annoying. They criticize her for being young, then criticize the lyrics for having older references? She's 20, I don't think this album sounds any less mature than Unbroken. And about the "eliminating anything too personal", I don't think any of Demi's songs are as personal/revealing as Shouldn't Come Back and Warrior.

I cannot at the perfection that is "Two Pieces" - HER VOCALS :'( I love that's she's really coming into her voice now and put it to great effect on this album.
"Really Don't Care" is iconic and needs to be a single.

I'm listening rn, just half way through. damn, too much yelling. she sounds like a third rate Kelly Clarkson singing third rate songs.

Aww, poor child. You're so conditioned to the Katy, Rihanna, and Selena Gomezs of the world that you're ignorant of what an actual vocalist sounds like. My dear, that is not yelling. It's called belting. Learn about it.

nah, I'm too conditioned to real vocalist like Kelly Clarkson. Demi has a much better voice than average pop stars, but she doesn't know how to use it like Kelly does. Kelly knows how to bend the notes, when to go soft, when to hold back, when to go all the way. It's those nuances that make huge differences.
